Thanks for the well wishes. Managed to speak to the new manager today and a weight has been lifted. I will have to wait up to 6 weeks for the DBS. But she said once it's through she'll invite me a team meeting so I am no longer freaking out that it's been given to someone else. Haha

I'm going to let me self off for the spend. It's not the end of the world. But Sunday / Monday I'm using one of the patterns to make something. Either a top or a dress. need to measure the fabric and decide.

I used up some fabric (curtains of my mother's - who died in 1991!) to make some Morsbags. Still have some fabric left, so I'll do more another time.

2 items to report this afternoon a cardigan that's been on going for a while and a toy spider for my cat with few wool scrapes left from cardigan and 8 borrowed pipe cleaners that just happened to fall out of my husband pipe tobacco pouch.

I have made another pencil case. Think it's the last one for now. I still have a huge stash of zips though. The huge stash of zips may never end.

This takes my total to 40. Not huge but getting there slowly.

I have plans to make something bigger this weekend. Thinking either a blouse or a dress. Depends which pattern will be quicker. I've never finished a pattern so will choose the easier one as a way to ease myself in. I am totally capable of doing it. I'll need to get some fabric washed - we're away for the night tomorrow for our anniversary and this is currently the only thing that may cause issues.

Everyone has been so busy. Long may it last.

Evening all

Been patch working again today so another 9 squares done and ready to sash. Not Counting those till they are all done as the quilt will be a single item on its own.

3 more little hats sewn together for the scbu.

27 items now complete.

Everyone is doing really well working through their stashes.

Can report another make to my total bringing it to 14 items in my stash busting attempt for 2016 .Nothing exciting just a patchwork runner for my lounge window sill. Some lovely stuff being made by you all. Have good evening what's left of it.
