Newsflash ND real women have opinions, and real women in real relationships with their equals do have opinions which differ, do have independence.
If a woman in a relationship blindly backs "her man" she is more aptly termed a Stepford Wife" and what man would choose one of those? Someone who dislikes being challenged or who cannot accept the validity of the opinions of others perhaps?0 -

Hi Piglet74. I am also a 41 year old female and I have just booked my first solo holiday in torremolinos in March. I have chosen all inclusive as the price difference seemed worth it and it frees up my spending money for trips out during the day. I plan to spend my evenings in the hotel although I am not ruling out going out at night. I thought being all inc gives me a better chance of meeting the same people and maybe making some friends. I can't wait. I will let you know how I get on 🙂0

I hope it goes well but I suspect that you will find that if you stop in the hotel in the evenings the only people you will meet are those with young families or retirees looking for a quiet night. You are far more likely to meet other singles and people of a similar age (and 41 is still young!) by heading into town.
I'm not very keen on Torremolinos itself (too hilly!) but it's easy to jump on the train or local bus to other resorts along the coast or even Malaga city. Personally I much prefer Fuengirola or, at a push, Benalmadena.0 -
I agree with doshwaster. Why would you go on holiday, and stay in the hotel?
If I wanted to sit indoors all the time, I'd stay at home and do it for free.0
