Someone with the username nifty digits obviously has no need for a girlfriend, as evidenced by his input into this thread.

Yeah... nice try. You mean like piglet74? Stepped out of her comfort zone in order to consider an all inclusive holiday wherein she never have to leave the resort and then asks if it's safe or not.
If I even told my girl about this thread, you would be on the end of a serious tongue lashing.
We take no prisoners. In fact, I am the mild mannered one. It's true. :)

I suspect if your gf saw this thread she would just look at you and shake her head.:rotfl:

Shame the title of this thread didn't indicate "Female travelling alone"- then perhaps it would not have been highjacked by one particular man intent on harping on... and on....!! (Oh, and insulting pretty much everyone else.)

Glad to read what he said: "I'm used to be a man"
I don't quite understand, does that mean....... I'm used to being a man?
or....... I used to be a man!!!
    Perchance an MCP?
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

    Go right on ahead
    Show her the thread
Let her see what a prat you are making of yourself

Any real woman would be disgusted at your attempts to undermine piglet - Maybe she is blinded by love, maybe she's imaginary -or maybe you deserve each other and she actually wants to be with someone what undermines women and is a complete inadequate. (of the three imaginary seems the most likely-Most Scandinavian women have balls )

Perhaps "I'll tell my girlfriend on you" is the new versions of "I'll tell my Dad on you" Are we supposed to be scared :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Too Funny !
To be fair I don't think we can accuse him of sexism - he does it to blokes too - he's an equal opportunities underminer ;)

But enough already. He's what he's like. OP don't take any of it personally, ND has been around on these boards for years and he's like this with everyone. If you can look beyond the insults and implications of stupidity he does contribute useful information. Particularly about cards to use abroad etc.

ND - come on - someone was pushing the FairFX card in another thread. Do your duty!

Certain age? What would that be? ;)

Seems that you like writing but not reading. Backpackers don't stay in sheds.
This is where I usually stay:

Though my absolute beachfront bungalow is not shown.
I think perhaps you are showing your age by assuming that backpackers are 'slumming it'.
I don't even pretend to be a backpacker any more. :)

You say this is the place you usually go ? Does that mean you like the comfort (safety ? )of holidaying in the same old place . Its hardly adventurous is it
Not to mention you are supporting a country that has a human rights crisis , not to mention their involvement with human / sex trafficking ......What is its appeal to you , and why do you consider it a wild adventure ( as you seem to think holidays should be )

Im not sure why you would think holidaying alone on a cruise would be mind numbingly boring? as holiday somewhere alone doesnt seem to appeal to you why even comment
Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later

Usually go as part of a trip. I have friends to visit....and enough of the pontification about a 'human rights crisis', you were boring enough already.

Ok, not the interpretation that I, or most people on this thread would have, but you seem to have a different opinion from normal people about many things?

I have a different life from most people, as I make different decisions. So it follows that I have different opinions. No need for me to follow the crowd.
    But you can, old man.
