Over bearing just about covers it I suspect.

I wonder if ND has ever actually been on a cruise? Or whether he just feels universally qualified to comment on anything?

I can't imagine why any man would think it desirable that their mate wouldn't ever travel alone. Surely most men would prefer an independent woman?

I think it is sad you are limiting yourself to holidays where it is warm. I think it is sad that your girlfriend is limiting herself to not travel without you. See it's all down to our own personal views.
    Ooh that's a paradox. Or a riddle.

    1) Nifty's gf is Scandinavian.
    2) She doesn't travel without him
    3) Nifty doesn't like cold countries.

So how did they meet ;)

Who said that I did?? :rotfl:

Cycling in the Alps in winter qualifies as a cold weather trip.
She's happy. She gets to do everything that she actually wants to do. No need to compromise because she is alone and afraid.
Gosh, you are trying desperately aren't you?

c'mon dude, you live in a bedsit without even proper landline Internet. For sure you don't have a girlfriend at all. This forum is probably the closest thing that you have to a friend.

She wasn't travelling when we met. Let's see if you can get your tiny brain around that one.
Though only an idiot would assume that Scandinavia is always cold. :)

To be fair any woman who chooses to go away with someone with such a poor attitude to women probably has issues of her own with self confidence and self worth so probably wouldn't want to.

Yeah... nice try. You mean like piglet74? Stepped out of her comfort zone in order to consider an all inclusive holiday wherein she never have to leave the resort and then asks if it's safe or not.
If I even told my girl about this thread, you would be on the end of a serious tongue lashing.

Was she on the shelf? Sorry couldn't resist :o

    Javist det ar sakit.

BTW and I'm being deadly serious here, here's an essential tip when you have a Scandinavian girlfriend. Never ever mix up the words for "drunk" and "ugly". They are almost the same. Getting it wrong can have severe consequences. Enough to make post #148 a reality. And I speak from experience.

    Go right on ahead
    Show her the thread
Let her see what a prat you are making of yourself

Any real woman would be disgusted at your attempts to undermine piglet - Maybe she is blinded by love, maybe she's imaginary -or maybe you deserve each other and she actually wants to be with someone what undermines women and is a complete inadequate. (of the three imaginary seems the most likely-Most Scandinavian women have balls )

Perhaps "I'll tell my girlfriend on you" is the new versions of "I'll tell my Dad on you" Are we supposed to be scared :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
