Completely Crazy Clothes Challenge 2016

Thanks all. I've been giving it some more thought and I think I will join (thank you) but have a budget just for myself and my 2 children. My husband rarely buys clothes, and when he does it's just out of the blue, so I'll just leave him too it.. for now!
Going to give some thought to a budget. Clothes are definitely one of my biggest expenses (alongside groceries!) - but for my children rather than for myself! I'm still trying to lose the weight I gained whilst pregnant with them, so mostly avoid clothes shopping for myself!- [STRIKE]Credit Card: £2,989 / £2,989[/STRIKE]

So I have given it some thought and I'm going to set a budget of £200 until the end of the year. That's for myself, and my 2 children. I know it seems a lot but I'm spending that a month at the minute!
I've been through their clothes and think I'll just have to buy DD some shoes and trousers, and DS some vests and sleepsuits. For myself I need a bra, and I'm likely to also need a dress for the work Xmas party later this year.- [STRIKE]Credit Card: £2,989 / £2,989[/STRIKE]

Bought another tankini top just before I went on holiday. £12 to add - that's my entire budget spent for the year !!
I'm not going to kid myself that I'll manage to get to the end of the year with no more spends but rather than increase my budget for the year I will keep it as it is to make me aware that everything I spend is putting me further & further into the red...Shifting my energy for 20200 -
You never know somerandom - you may well just be able to do it! Do you 'need' anything?
I'm quite pleased with myself - so many things so far have tempted me. John Lewis have been out of stock of some bodysuits I wanted for my daughter, found them in store, headed to the till with them then had a word with myself. Ended up putting them back!
Similarly was eyeing up a dress yesterday - to be fair it's half price so probably would save me money in the long run, but what's the chances I still want to wear it May next year (for a wedding). Also, I'm trying to lose weight so would just be guessing / dreaming about the size I would be by then! (Most likely still the same size I am now, if how I'm doing so far is anything to go by!).- [STRIKE]Credit Card: £2,989 / £2,989[/STRIKE]

Good point Pepperoni - to be honest I don't need anything - other than maybe some gym clothes - I'm getting quite low on those as things wear out... I think I need to get back in touch with why I'm doing this challenge - I've lost my focus a bit...

oooh I'm back "in the black" (slightly) again as I received a 50% refund on some shrugs I ordered via eBay - they got lost in the post and the seller replaced them and also gave me a partial refund. Great service ! The shrugs turned out to be pretty cheap & cheerful but at that price (less than£2.50 each) I'm happy.Shifting my energy for 20200

That refund must have been burning a hole in my pocket as I went out yesterday and spent most of it. 4 items for the grand total of £3.50. Clements Ribeiro Skirt - £1 (I've just seen how expensive their stuff is ), Fat Face top - 50p, a cotton dress with label cut out (£1) plus a silk Monsoon dress (£1) that doesn't suit me so will be re-donated.
I feel better having seen that its not just me who has been spending. (Bad attitude I know)
I'm back to having pretty much zero budget left until the end of the year...Shifting my energy for 20200
