Just a quick post to say I didn't like the sandals so am returning them, but also bought a dress from a supermarket for £18 ... not sure why as I don't normally look at the clothes in there, but I saw it and was having a bad day! Wore it straightaway so I must like it.
So at £329.98 for the year now.
Got plans to clear a couple of things out this weekend to sell to put towards the home improvement fund, and am going to commit to doing some sewing! Have to go to a shopping centre tomorrow for my daughters eye appointment, but have no intention to shop bar a trip to the flower stall on the market!
Hope you all have some nice things planned for the long weekend

Hello all. I bought some slippers yesterday for £9, but as I had the refund of £12.50 earlier in the year I am still £3.50 up.

The only thing I have bought / paid for since last summer is a pair of socks (sept 2015) and a belt (April 2016). But today I had some retail therapy.

1 white short sleeve blouse (reduced with discount card)
1 pair of jeans (reduced - nearly half price)
1 pair of socks (reduced - more than half price)
1 pair of navy flat shoes - full price but have been looking over a year for a pair of navy flattish heel that I like. (This was on my needs list).
    Total £233.00
With the spend earlier in the month that is £255 out of my £600 budget.

Also bought hubby a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and some socks for his birthday. (All reduced - half price).

Hello, me again. I've just been to a jumble sale and spent £4 on two skirts and two tops, all new with labels on (were a total of £94). As I was £3.50 up due to my refund earlier this year, I will update my signature to say I have spent the grand total of 50p so far this year.

Morning all. Yesterday while playing my sport I got caught in a hail shower in just a fleece jacket while everyone else was organised and put on their waterproof hooded jackets. So I have now ordered one in the requisite colour from the land of bay for just under £9. I won't add it to my total though as I don't include essential items that can only be used for sport (jacket has a logo on it).

I've slipped big-time - helping a friend out I bought some bits off her, £50 and then thanks *cough* to Martin's email which mentioned M&S's 50% sale, I spent £66 in there one lunchtime last week. Still haven't had my big clear-out yet, but hubby is away next weekend and there's some of tomorrow (although having a run out with my Mum hopefully) - my last ebay sale didn't seem to go too badly so might give that a go and try to recoup some of those outgoings.

Some April spends to declare. £44.98 on a pair of black skinny jeans and some killer heels. Both filling gaps in my wardrobe so not going to feel guilty :)

Wow some well considered and bargainous spends been happening out there!
I went to the shops but as promised didn't even look at any clothes. The flowers on the market were diabolical, some lilies that looked all battered and some cream gerbera (not pink or red, bland looking cream) which looked horrible as well. So I bought some flowers in M&S which already are on their way out. I need to find a nice and inexpensive florist - does that even exist??! Fed up with artificially dyed ones in supermarkets. Its my treat at the moment, keeps the house looking nice which is important to me.
Have put some shoes, a dress and a skirt onto the internet to sell, proceeds to go towards the house improvement fund! The shoes were bought by him a long time ago, I only wore them once to the birthday dinner that I got them for, and all I remember about it was everyones surprise that he made me pay for myself. I wouldn't wear them now so anything I get is a bonus! Going to see what else he has given me that I can sell.... still saving up for the lounge improvements and then need to start saving for the bedroom!
Cut out a dress to sew this week and washed two more pieces of fabric. Got to find my sewing mojo again.
Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday, despite the disappointing weather!
