Clarey008 - once a year? I am speechless and that doesn't happen much. I suppose he will expect you to pay for the flight as well??
Mavvymoo those clothes still seem like a bargain to me! Hopefully your cost per wear will be minuscule.
I am checking in to report that I returned the expensive leather jacket without even looking at it. I thought to try it on would be a mistake so I resisted.
Couldn't wait to tell you all I felt so ridiculously pleased with myself!!
Really glad I won't be seeing that on next months bill. I want to get the treadmill and start to lose some weight. Then I will have some lovely clothes to wear again, including some leather jackets actually!
We are also going to start making juices, I really haven't been looking after myself recently. Well for a long time really.Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0 -
Oh and now the jacket has been returned, I can declare 10 weeks of not buying clothes!! :beer:Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0

vintagegal Well done sending it back without even looking at it:TWe are all really proud of you
10 weeks without buying clothes is a fantasic result.
When I was treating myself today they had sold out of my size in the t-shirts in all but a Red and Black so have ordered some other colours on line only £4 each so will add when they arrive

Mavvymoo £4 is a BARGAIN!
I can't admit to what I was spending and thinking was reasonable. Well I suppose it is obvious from my £311 YTD spend on two dresses and two pairs of shoes which were all half price.....
And anyway after my 10 weeks drought I ordered some summer sandals today. I work for a retailer and was ordering something for my friend and decided to get them now as we get 50% off for the next week instead of 40% which is the usual discount.
I know I will wear them all summer as I got a black pair and a pewter pair, so very neutral. I am a sucker for an impractical patterned shoe that doesn't go with anything normally. So I have spent £45 today but I feel I will get my moneys worth, as we have a casual dress code at work so sandals are not limited to weekends in my world!
Plus as we all know, shoe shopping never makes you feel fat... I don't want to buy too many clothes that fit now because I really don't want to be this size.
Children have gone for their weekend away, handover mostly civil except when I got snippy over him trying to go on holiday on the weekends he's supposed to be having them over the summer - I get 2 days in 14 and he can't even let me have that! Grrrrr. Anyway I refuse to let him dim my sparkle today.
I'm off to watch a DVD and enjoy the peace and quiet! Have a nice weekend everyone and wear something nice from your wardrobe tomorrow that makes you feel good! No saving anything for 'best' !!Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0 -

Ha! you want to try shoe shopping after a long haul flight :rotfl::rotfl: Thankfully I was buying trainers for my running so actually it was kind of a simulation of '1/2 marathon foot' anyway :rotfl:
Your sandals sound a good investment. And I can beat Mav's t-shirt prices...£1.80 vest tops for me from Primarni, the slouchy ones. Proper straps not silly cami ones that fall off my shoulders. Have a ton of them, although need to chuck some from previous years which are now past their best. I'm hoping I'm allowed in primarni tomorrow as I'm taking OH suit shopping ... not sure I will be though and tbh I shouldn't be spending on clothes (or anything) as its been a very expensive time of late.
Well done for standing your ground with Chief Twit (sub 'i' as appropriate should you wish) sprinkle some fairy dust over the doormat where his presence darkened it and enjoy some well earned 'me' time xx

Went to Bluewater to go and buy some navy shoes, summer walking trainers and a new outfit. Saw a few things I liked the look off but then didn't feel I the mood. So bought the photo frames that we needed and came home. So nothing more added to the total.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Hello all
Thanks for being so understanding about my buys :rotfl:But I have to add some more
4 x T-shirts @ £5 each(these are M &co)
I really like Sainsburys Tu t -Shirts they are a really nice length and wash well and I tend to buy about 10 every year and they are only £4 each
So I have to add another £40 for all the clothes I have added in the last week.
I am now going to try not to buy another thing for a while:o
I did go out last last to a funk disco night (showing my age now ):rotfl:A great time was had by all danced all night and wore one of my new Dresses as its quite 70s in its style. Felt good in it so was a good buy for £8

My budget definitely won't stretch to flights Vintagegal but I think ds is saving up for flights out of his weekend job which makes me sad. I have seen some lovely leather sandals in a catalogue, they currently have 20% off, making them £44. They look comfortable and stylish, so I think I might be tempted.Mortgage Dec 2015 - £21545 Apr 2016 - £19930

I've just been outbid on a lovely Mint Velvet poncho on eBay that I fancied for my holiday. The Universe is determined to keep me on the straight and narrow in spite of my lack of willpower :rotfl:
10 days without a purchase... :AShifting my energy for 20200 -
Ah Clarey008, that made me feel a little sad that your lovely son is saving to go see his Dad. I wish his Dad could see what is wrong with that situation.
Thank you Kerri gt, I have had a busy weekend and have got a few jobs ticked off my to do list. Have ordered the treadmill as I was researching and there was a 10% off code this weekend, plus I went through topcashback. Will 'pay myself back' over the next few months with what I save on not having gym membership.
Aiming to start doing 10,000 steps a day at first to see if we can wobble some of the weight off :rotfl:
If I can lose some weight I will have a lot more clothes to wear and I will be SOOOOO pleased to get into them. Even a stone would make a huge difference.
Impressed with your £1.80 tops, did you buy anything this weekend?
Mavvymoo your £8 dress sounds awesome and I'm glad you let your hair down!
somerandom, well done for not increasing your bid! Its hard to not go mad when planning for a holiday, even when I tell myself I don't need anything new I always end up justifying something.
Haven't bought any more clothes since the sandal order on Friday, it's been freezing this weekend so not sure I need sandals anytime soon anyway! Have seen a few lovely things online but I am telling myself I can sew a dress for FREE. Going to try and do a little sewing when the children are in bed tonight. Or at least get into bed with some sewing books and make a plan for a few summer dresses.
Better go as got a food shop coming plus the children are due back soon :j but I have to see him :mad:Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0
