Completely Crazy Clothes Challenge 2016

Well done Kerri gt :T
I had a cull of my clothes at the weekend. I've got a bin liner full of stuff to go to the CS (where most of it originated from in the first place) and that was me not trying very hard - there's plenty more that could go the same way. I plan to go back in there later in the week.....Shifting my energy for 20200 -
whoops, a truly spectacularly spendy day. Wend out with DM to get some shoes to go with a dress for a wedding...and err.... came back with a new dress, a wrap and a flower for my hair...and shoes to go with them all. Oh and an additional summery dress but used a gift voucher for most of that

Hello everyone
Hope you are all well.
Just popping by to say I haven't bought any clothes, today makes 8 weeks!:j
Have two nights of my children staying at my parents, then they go to Daddys for the weekend. I'll see them briefly in between as my parents do not want to see my ex, so I have to do the handover!
I will miss them terribly but am determined to use the time to get my old sewing room cleared so that we can see if we have room for a treadmill. Also hoping to have some time to do a little sewing in the new room. They will FaceTime me so I will be able to keep them updated on the progress! They are super excited about us making a little gym and I am super excited about cancelling the eye watering £111 a month I pay for the gym membership that we don't use!
Maybe I will plan a couple of sewing projects for summer dresses... the fabric mountain needs to be addressed...Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0 -
Mavvymoo, did you go back for the £1.50 skirt?
I might plan a day off to go somewhere and check out some charity shops, you all seem to find some amazing stuff!
I've developed a bit of an obsession with mid century artwork, maybe I could unearth something in a charity shop?Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0 -

One of my local Charity Shops had a special "Ladies Day" promotion - where they had lots of upmarket / good quality items for sale that they'd put back specially. I tried to resist but in the end couldn't manage to... they had some nice stuff - bought a lovely simple and very wearable damson coloured Jaeger dress £7.00. I showed some restraint as I almost bought a deep green patent leather Fossil bag for the same price but put it back as in the end I realised as much as a bargain it was - I was unlikely to use it.Shifting my energy for 20200

Wow That sounds like my kind of sale. I think I would have snapped up the Fossil bag as I already have one and they are so pricey but good control for leaving it for someone else
I have a very nice Black and Cream T-shirt to add to my total mine for £2.75 an M & S one.:o
