Morning all and welcome to the new starters
A hard day for me yesterday as went clothes shopping with a friend who was buying a Mother of the Groom outfit. I found it so hard not to buy anything  Loads of 70% sales on loads of things I loved found a lovely pair of ankle boots on sale for £17 reduced from £85. Wandered round with them in my hand for ages and then put them back  I dont need any as I was telling myself as I was heading to pay for them
We got her outfit on sale was £510 :eek:We paid £190 and it looks stunning on her so was a good but very hard day.It cost me 2 cups of coffee.
So I stayed strong and didnt give in to the over welming feeling I had to treat myself to something

Well done mavvymoo, that feeling is a tough one to fight!
I've been struggling a bit the last few days, just wanting to have something new and pretty. Haven't succumbed yet but have been sorely tempted.
Keep trying to remind myself that there are other things I need to spend my money on.
I wondered if it's connected to the fact that since my outburst on Monday, my ex is ignoring me. So we are back to how he used to behave when he lived here - and lo and behold, I want to revert to my old shopping ways!
If only I could afford counselling eh?! What a messed up mind I have.Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0 -

Honestly though, why not write down how you feel, then you can either burn (if paper) or delete (if on screen) when you're done. It's an easy way of getting things out of your head and saying things to someone without actually saying them out loud. I used to do this a lot when I split from my ex-h.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Good idea there, just do make sure you don't get them mixed up and chuck the computer in the fire
No clothes shopping here and I won't be walking far for the next day or so, I did pick up a lovely new accessory / necklace today in the form of a shiny new medal for a 1/2 marathon. Hmmm...which makes me think shoe shopping should be interesting on tues with the blisters I have also come home with (none major, just s few on the toes). Still prob a good indicator of whether the shoes will be comfy or not :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Kim_13, where do you get shoes for £4.99??!!
24 Studio catalogue. £4.99 delivery charge on top of which I paid £2. Mum and Auntie were also having something so they shared the remaining £2.99.
They sometimes give out free delivery offers to new customers or if you haven't ordered something for a while, so it's worth keeping an eye out if there's something you want.
I had 2 pairs of similar shoes from them before, can't remember if it was £4.99 or £6.99 I paid then but they lasted reasonably well.0 -
Spent 12.99 on clothes today-charity shop finds. A nice blue and white nautical stripy top and a nice blue/green dress, both originally M&CO. Feel quite happy. But i know i am lusting after a 59 pound dress from Monsoon for my friends wedding, just have to see if i can justify it.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Have spent 55.11 pounds so far, which i've just calculated is 17% of my years budget, must keep it in check.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Well done kerri :T I have had a few medals and end up chucking them out as I never know what to do with them
Went out yesterday did see a very nice skirt for £1.50 left it in the shop but may go back on Wednesday to see if its still there
Also saw a really lovely hat for the wedding but as I dont know what I am wearing yet thought it would be daft to buy it and then have to buy the outfit to match :rotfl:
So not spends here but a possible one coming up
