Completely Crazy Clothes Challenge 2016

No spends from me as well. I have fat face vouchers that are also burning a hole in my pocket. I have been in two ff stores but have resisted all temptation.
Very good Gem-gem, unfortunately I have not been able to resist. In my defence the vouchers DID EXPIRE FEBRUARY. (Lol the block caps make me feel better). So I bought a teal short sleeved top reduced from £28 to £8 and a purple long sleeved top reduced from £25 to £15. They are both plain as I bought a lot of patterned things last year and have struggled to make them into outfits which do not clash. So I have knocked £3 off the budget (the overspend from the vouchers) and although I'm no longer in the running for a no spend Jan I suppose £3 isn't bad.Mortgage Dec 2015 - £21545 Apr 2016 - £19930

However machine washing seems to up the risk of an underwire betraying you and trying to stab you in the heart :rotfl: had that happen to 3 in the last few months after it not happening for years. I think my machine has it in for me (or I got a couple of dodgy bras)
Actually need to go through my undies drawer and throw out the old ones after getting the new lot in now.
No spends to report yet. I feel like I should get new PJs though. I've been wearing the same ones my cousin bought since he got them for me... for Christmas 2006  that's reasonable, right? Pair of fluffy PJs out of Primarni? Only thing is I don't trust myself to go in and not come out with £70 of stuff. Maybe I'll check on the bay of E instead.
(The PJs in question are also Primark, as it happens. Still good after 9 years of wear but they aren't fluffy or especially warm and my flat is very cold. Maybe I'll still keep them regardless)
Thankfully I've only lost one wire in the machine, when the repair guy came out he found two behind the drum....one was deff not mine so obv a previous resident.
Lots of places have pjs in the sales ATM, try Saimsburys for their TU ones, primark deff have a lot incl fluffy ones, or even Next perhaps. I did get a new pair of pj bottoms in the sale from FF though they were still stupidly expensive IMO.....Xmas present from my DM though which was lovely of her and a nice treat for me.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Thankfully I didn't lose them in the machine, but they did start poking out and got a bit bent so as not to be shoved back in and stitched up easily.
I don't have any supermarkets in walking distance that sell clothing, unfortunately. Got a few in my watch list on fleabay so will let it stew until February and see which I still like.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

Hello everyone
Lots of willpower still being displayed by you all!
I have just about managed to buy nothing as well. Although I am really struggling over a jacket I like which I have seen on eBay for £100 less than the new price, the ebay one is BNWT. So I've put a few bits on ebay today and if I get enough for the jacket I will have it.

Many thanks. My budget is zero but £2.99 is a bargain!
My brother has his own business, and part of their uniforms are fleeced I've managed to scrounge one. Although it's navy...not very inspiring....and it has his emblem on it. I think k I will jazz it up a bit. May cover the emblem with sequins....!:cool:Living a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

If you can keep it at a £3.00 spend for the month that will be excellent. When I first doing this challenge I was literally counting the days.
I love it when you can get something for free or close to it.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

White stuff also have lots of pj in the sale. A little more than the normal but excellent quality. I bought two pairs last year and they still look like new.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Kerri You are so right about the minefield of running shoes  So many styles and about a 1% chance of getting them right:(
Thats why the toes are out of mine and I keep using them as I dont want to make a big expensive mistake.
I do buy from a good shop with a treadmill and well trained staff but pay top dollar in there but to be honest thats one thing I would never buy from the The Bay etc
Havent braved it yet but will go in the week when there is not so many people with New Year plans to start running before quitting in Feb
32b3in2013 I am so glad you love the Levis as do I
Still nothing spent but I do keep looking at the date and thinking ahhhh at least another 20 days to go if I want a spend free month
Our primark is a massive one so think thats why its so busy. I dont care anyway as I dont go in there :rotfl:

I did this last year sold stuff and took it off my total but over all I think doing that I did still manage to spend a £1000 on clothesSo its up to you just be careful buying an expensive coat on The Bay as so much is faked on there sadly. What make is your coat you like ? As it seems to be a really high end make if its been reduced by £100.
Saying that I managed to buy a RL leather jacket on the bay last year for £25 RRP £1035  When it arrived its the real thing brand new so there is bargains to be had on there
So you pay your money and take you chance really but it is buyer beware
