Going to be decluttering at m'chap's place tomorrow, so mine will be on hold. Might pick up again on Sunday, or focus on finishing a book for the CS or using up some of my craft stash. Either way, it's all helping.3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. Declutter from 22.5.22: 105/250 Car finance PAID OFF £7,848.88 IN 2019 (0% LOB)0 -
Greenqueen wrote: »Mally I have just sent some books to webuybooks.co.uk They took gardening titles. I`m really pleased because I posted the parcel on Monday and the cash was in my account by Thursday! They dont give you a lot per book but they pay the postage so I effectively got more for them than if I had taken them to a carboot sale and stood in the cold for 5 hours.
I have given them a try - most of my books were too specialist I think but I managed to find 8 books that I do not need that they were willing to give me £30 for so that is a start. With the books being so heavy they struggle to make good money on eBay due to the postage and I will never do a car boot.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Afternoon All
Seem to be getting nowhere fast today. Anyway, finally packed Christmas stuff away. Had a good clear out of it all last year, still managed to chuck some old cards and put a few decs I haven't used this year in the current CS bag. Also, few Christmas story books which kids don't read now and weren't really favourites are in CS bag. Pair of past their best boots in the bin. It really is a never ending battle.
