  • I'm off and running!

    Started with the bathroom cabinet, it's only small but a few things in there I knew weren't required. I enjoy making model kits and the supplies for that needed a tidy up, so a few more bits went from that. Finally was a box of tat on top of a bookcase and a few bits here and there which could go.

    1. Boots - very old and worn - bin
    2. Plastic drinks bottle - old - recycling
    3. Shaving foam - never use - bin
    4-5. After shave balms x 2 - don’t like - bin
    6. Comb - never use - bin
    7. Flannel - worn - bin
    8. Cleaning cloth - worn - bin
    9-25. Modelling paint pots x 17 - old/dried up - bin
    26-27. Boxes for modelling paint pots x 2 - not needed - recycling
    28. Paint mixing tray - tatty - bin
    29-38. Modelling brushes x 10 - worn - bin
    39. Juggling balls - not wanted - bin
    40-41. Wallets x 2 - not needed - bin
    42. Name tag from old job - bin
    43. Business cards from old job - recycling
    44. Junk box - not needed - recycling

    I decluttered my old sewing machine to my sewing teacher tonight. She only has an industrial one, so was happy to have mine.

    Hi everyone, sorry I've not posted for a few days , my Mum sadly passed away on Saturday - I've been on a bit of an emotional roller coaster, but I have started to sort through mountains of my paperwork to try and keep my mind occupied.

    Rossi sorry to hear about your Mum. I found keeping busy was a good distraction when my Mum passed away in the summer Hope you are ok.

    Decluttering yesterday:
    26 - Asda magazine (coupons I might use & a couple of recipes saved to try) - recycling
    27 - 2 old Avon brochures (I keep 12 months worth for reference as I'm a rep) - recycling
    28 - Misc random gibble from my top desk drawer & paper piles on my desk - bin/recycling
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Started slowly yesterday with a couple of bits of paperwork. I've also decluttered a couple of Christmas biscuits into my tum, but I expect that doesn't count!
