I'm in. Just given a load of old coats and hats, gloves, scarves and boots to a homeless group. My target will be to declutter 2016 items but at least half are to go to be reused somewhere else. I'm not going to count paper

Another decluttering morning this morning
Finally got all of the stuff that was under the stairs sorted... we moved last June and kinda threw a load of cardboard boxes under there "to sort later"... 1 bin bag of rubbish, some more recycled and a trip to the CS with a huge box full of (complete) board games and a massive bag of books that the boys have grown out of
So that's two declutters today, we just have the boy's bedrooms to go and have set aside tomorrow and Friday to sort them as they will be all day jobs!Debt Free Journey started 21.05.20170 -
The past few days have not been especially productive for me, but I did get a shelving unit thoroughly decluttered, and some more items up on Ebay. This morning I took another trolley-load to the CS and the bin men have been - so my incentive is to fill both my trolley and my bin with stuff to get rid of again!
I am also counting up the change I find on my travels - over £6 so far, which may not sound like much to most of you, but makes a big difference to me on my current tiny budget!0 -
Wow! Loads of decluttering happening and some lovely newbies too :hello: welcome to the gang x
Larumbelle - you should be on the wombling thread! We call change found on travels "roadkill" £6 is not to be sneezed at for sure :T
I'm liking the idea of donating my unwanted items to charities who collect such things - the pens one was new to me, and I've got enough stationary to start my own shop, so I'll be looking into that rather than just chucking it all away. And I'm a big fan of "recycling" unused/unwanted pressies too DuranGirl - I just have to label things with the name of who gave it to me originally, so as to avoid embarrassment
No flingage to report today, but I have sorted things into piles to go through thoroughly and ruthlessly tomorrow when I've got a bit more time.0 -
A bit more progress yesterday and today.
