after my 1lb gain last week i have a masive 5.5lbs loss this week
nothing like a gain to help me re focus0 -
Hello all and welcome IntheRed.
Another measly 1lb off please Shala and I'm soooo not going to hit my stupidly ambitious target for this challenge :rotfl: but despite my whinge last week it's ok.
I'm now in the next stone bracket which feels good (ok only by the skin of my teeth but hey who cares?:rotfl:) and my size 16 trousers are feeling loose. It's funny that - I was wearing 18's which tbh were tight with the occasional size 20 and it took 3.5 stone off to drop a single clothes size but this last 6lbs has nearly brought me down another size - where's the logic in that???0 -
so it's a much deserved STS for me this week; after pizza/kfc/mcds/bread (don't usually eat much).
Today slightly over syns but otherwise ok:
Breakfast: bran flakes (HeB) with milk from HeA, peppermint tea
lunch: jacket potato with spinach, baby plum tomatoes, cucumber and chicken with 25g philedelphia lightest (1 syn) and a choc mini roll (6 syn)
mid afternoon: (freezing in office I was working from today) 2 morrisons NUME hot chocolates - not sure on syns but in my head it's 2 each? another mini roll (6 syn)
tea: sw meal - beef in red onion gravy with veg crush. I add mixed veg which I steamed in the microwave. It was LUSH! and even littlie was asking for morewe will share that again
other drinks: water, regular tea
plan for tomorrow:
breakfast: HeB bran flakes with milk from HeA, peppermint tea
lunch: spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, cooked chicken, beetroot, pickled onion and a handful of pasta with free salad dressing
mid afternoon: apple
tea: think we will try the sw pork sausages with tinned potatoes fried with a little spray of fry light, tomato and mushrooms (done in the oven with the sausages) and baked beans
will do a walk in place of my lunchtime
Hoping littlie drops off soon (fighting it atm) then I can think about getting to bed early************************************

I am taking some dire oral suspension thing.
It tastes truly dire.
I have been eating to try & take the taste away.

Well I thought I’d posted this last night! Must have been the football trauma!
Oh, b_e_g, I’m sure it’ll just be a blip! You’ll get there ok. Thanks for thinking about me.
Thank you, shala. I can tell you I needed that – I was feeling a bit like b_e_g is now – although I see she’s making some jokes now, so must be starting to put it behind her.
Well done, Tulip, queen of cheap, committed, Mavvers and Arkers
Cheese I had two thirds of a Burns Supper (I don’t like haggis) with sausages and sugar free irn bru to wash it down, lol. lantanna, that wild beast was probably a haggis; I caught one for DH that had wandered into our garden, so it was nice and fresh, lol.
Delighted about wee Tug’s good news. Arkers.
lantanna, you definitely will see a lot of changes there now, all for the better, although not at Dens Park or Tannadice!
Bad result in Dundee for us – and I forgot to take my wine gums again!). I didn’t have anything else, not even a nibble of DH’s macaroon bar, so 9 syns in total today.
Wednesday
Breakfast: hexb muesli, ff Greek yogurt
Lunch: smoked mackerel salad, mayo (1), pear
Dinner: tomato & mixed pepper pasta, Eton Mess (3)
Snacks: pineapple, hexa cheese & cherry tomatoes, shortbread finger (5)
Good Luck all, tomorrow is clean slate.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Hope you’re feeling better, Abbafan.
Good for you, LindseyandMatthew, candyapple, dragonb4 (wow!),orlao and Midge.
Glad you’ve decided to keep up the challenge, b_e_g.
Come right in and make yourself at home, InTheRed.
Delighted you have a man who can be a good support, lantanna. Keep us posted.
Oh beanie, you are my heroine – I cannot take any medicine in liquid form at all! I’d be spewing all over the place. I hope the nasty has the desired effect very soon.
Well, I didn’t have the shortbread today after all, but I did have 2 Galaxy mini eggs for 3 syns. Just enough as they were a bit sweet. So today’s syns totalled 7. I am happy with that – and satisfied!
Thursday
Pre Breakfast: banana
Breakfast: LMcC roro sausage, bacon, tomato, mushrooms
Lunch: hexa light philly, smoked salmon, tomato
Dinner: roast beef, roast potatoes, red cabbage, broccoli, gravy (1)
Snacks: melon, strawberries, WW lemon slice (4), Thornton’s mini caramel shortbread (4)
“Choice, not chance, determines destiny.” – E.C. McKenzie
Let’s all be determined to have a great day!Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
:T on the losses dragon and orlao. Yours is amazing dragon but orlao has the NSV as well.I am taking some dire oral suspension thing.
It tastes truly dire.
I have been eating to try & take the taste away.
Foul.
Poor you. I hope the foul stuff is syn free!;)
I heard about your result greentiger.:( Many commiserations, now you'll have to 'concentrate on the league' like us.;)
Szechuan beef was very tasty but the noodles were horrid. I used Batchelors super noodles for the first time, had them in the cupboard to try. Tasteless mush but probably my fault although I did follow the cooking instructions. Next time I'll stick to 'straight to wok' worth a few syns.
I've also been snacking on the wholegrain melba toasts with smoked salmon scraps on top. Yummy!!0 -
Popping by with -3lbs this week. I know I only post weekly results but am following the thread as best I can - it moves so fast. I'm getting lots of helpful advice so thank you :T
Well done to everyone this week too.0
