Lots of good losses there! :T

Hope you get that over and done with soon Beanie

Feeling tired today, I was like a zombie after the gym last night but when I went to bed tossed and turned until after one.

Today is payday and can't wait to get the fridge stocked with healthy essentials! :D

Going to treat myself to some fresh strawberries today, I've been eating the frozen ones from Lidl and its just not the same.
  • Welcome inthered! and well done to all the losses!:j

I'm now in the next stone bracket which feels good (ok only by the skin of my teeth but hey who cares?:rotfl:) and my size 16 trousers are feeling loose. It's funny that - I was wearing 18's which tbh were tight with the occasional size 20 and it took 3.5 stone off to drop a single clothes size but this last 6lbs has nearly brought me down another size - where's the logic in that???

When I used to lose weight I found it all came off evenly and I would go down the dress sizes quite quickly. Since having children it all clings to my middle so my face and legs are getting nice and thin but I've only gone down one size in jeans!

    Menu today:
    B - overnight oats (heb)
    L - chicken satay noodles (3)
D - slow cooker dhal, rice, raita, poppodum (1.5), ff greek yoghurt, berries, meringues (2)
S - kitkat (5.5), jelly (0.5), cheese (hea), banana, clementine

Decided to have a bacon and tomato sandwich with a cup of tea (healthy extra and syn free).

Lunch will probably be an omelette with mushroom and tomato.

Not sure what to have tonight but have a couple of SW meals in freezer or could defrost some chicken and do a stir fry.

Straight to wok has syns??? I just looked it up and found that the Udon ones I use are free - phew :o

I have around two pounds to lose to get club ten and then another five pounds down to get two stone down. Hopefully moving house in the next few weeks and all the kerfuffle will help me lose weight.

Thank you all for the kind welcomes!

Enjoyed my stir fry last night - was worth the 1/2 syn for chilli sauce, combined with soy sauce - yummy!
Looked up Amoy straight to wok udon noodles, as I had some in my cupboard to use - and couldn't believe that they were free!

So used my syns on Fruitopolis yoghurt 1/2
    Chill sauce 1/2
    250ml Dry white wine 8
    175ml Dry white wine 6

    Good day!

I am ALL OVER THIS this week!
Just had a minor panic that I had agreed to go to Pizza Express tonight, but calmed down checked the menu and SW online and I can have

    Leggera Pollo Arrabbiata

    Hiya :)

I'm having a 'use up leftovers' day today to free up some space in the fridge. Lunch will be bubble and squeak made with LO new potatoes, romanesco, carrots and green beans. There's only a few potatoes so it's mainly speed veg. Tonight its second time round for bolognese sauce but there isn't enough on its own so I'm going to add LO ratatouille and a tin of tomatoes and make pasta bake with a HEA of grated cheese on the top. I think the fridge will be nearly empty after that!

Good to hear about the man in your life Lantanna, hope it goes in the direction you want it to.

Sorry to hear about the disgusting medicine Beanie, hope you don't have to take it for too long.

Well done to all the losers and welcome Inthered.

    Have a good day.

7lbs to target candyapple :T brilliant! Another target member on here will be fab... i think we're better than normal SW classes aren't we :rotfl:

As someone who's never been to a SW class the support on here is really second to none and I can come here in my pjs, pretty sure I can't do that at group :rotfl:

Good for you Candyapple for upping your Challenge target. Both you and Betty have inspired me to stay with Challenge rather than dropping out.

Also had two of my four bottles of water for today so pleased with that so far.

Well done for sticking with it :T I've wanted to give up so many times especially after a gain (I'm sure we all have) but keep plodding as beanie says and we'll all get there. I really need to up my water intake as well, I'm rubbish at drinking water unless it's in tea and I'm not sure that really counts :D I've seen on instagram a couple of variations of water bottles with timings on the side encouraging you to drink - they are around £15 though so I'm trying to decide if I want one enough. Might see how skint I am after the 1st when all my bills come out

I've got a beef stew bubbling away in my SC at the moment. I decided to try something new and not brown the meat before putting it in to see if it makes a difference to taste or texture or anything like that. Had a peek earlier and it looks exactly the same as it would if I'd browned the meat, the stock looks a little bit thicker but time will tell

    Food for today:

B - porridge with choc shot, strawbs and banana
L - tuna with light mayonnaise with salad and tesco flavoured cous cous
T - Beef stew, sweet potato mash, cauli & broccoli

Leaving plenty of syns to play with later

Well done more losers this week :T

I've been using Aldi noodles and they're not free but very low. Is it the Amoy ones you use or own brand?

What I do for stir fry is get the chicken breast out of the freezer and leave it on the side for only about 30 mins to defrost slightly. Then it slices up brilliantly, leave it to finish defrosting and cooks in no time at all.

I have that several times a week but rarely make it into proper patties. Just a hash of LO veg.:o

I'm sure shala or beg posted about one of those fancy bottles recently or maybe it was a DIY version.

We've got Bolognese today too lois but your sounds yum with the ratatouille. I must make some of that, it'd be a good stand by in the freezer. Any particular recipe?

Not seen denise about. Hope you're OK?

I've put a pencil skirt on this morning and it's a bit 'snug'. I think I'm maintaining but probably a few pounds above where I'd like to be. I'll be doing meal plan later so this should motivate me to be sensible and checked diary and no meals out planned next week so that's a bonus.

    EE plan for today:
B: NAS Grapefruit, scrambled eggs, HEB toast, HEA for milk and parmesan
    L: satsumas (on the hoof)
    D: SW spaghetti Bolognese
Syns: squirt of HP sauce and maybe a snack of Melba toasts and/or chocolate

:T on the losses dragon and orlao. Yours is amazing dragon but orlao has the NSV as well.

Poor you. I hope the foul stuff is syn free!;)

I heard about your result greentiger.:( Many commiserations, now you'll have to 'concentrate on the league' like us.;)

Szechuan beef was very tasty but the noodles were horrid. I used Batchelors super noodles for the first time, had them in the cupboard to try. Tasteless mush but probably my fault although I did follow the cooking instructions. Next time I'll stick to 'straight to wok' worth a few syns.

I've also been snacking on the wholegrain melba toasts with smoked salmon scraps on top. Yummy!!

Have just printed off the szechuan beef recipe - it's one of those I keep meaning to try. What beef do you use?
