I am feeling decidedly bloated...probably something to do with things not moving regularly. I'm going to ditch Hifis/cereal bars as my HeB I think and go back to cereals/toast/ryvitas and see if that has any effect.
In the meantime I'm going for a slight intervention by way of a sachet of what my dad uses as it can't be healthy to not go for so long.
Hoping I still manage a little loss tomorrow despite this situation :P************************************

Had a sneaky peek at the scales this morning and looking as though it's a STS. Not really happy about that as have had another good week and well within syns; with plenty of Speed foods (including an SP day yesterday).
Back to EE today:
B - quark, strawberries & grapes
L - jacket potato; baked beans
D - Goan fish curry & rice - it's got Speed in it but not sure how much so may end up with fruit & quark afterwards
HEA - milk as usual
HEB - nothing planned at the moment but will have something later if I want it
No syns so far either.

Off home, doing a 5 mile walk tonight with a friend. Considering we have had every season going today who knows if the weather will be ok. M&S skinny burgers with salad for tea. I believe these are free on SW. have a nice night all.0

Interesting discussion today, I'm an all or nothing kind of person so when I'm focussed and doing it then that's fine but when I fall along the wayside then I'm in trouble! I tend to do what maman does and have treat meals when we go out, but I shouldn't really as I'm not at target yet! We go out so rarely i see it as a treat though.
When I was getting to target shala I'd try make SW friendly choices when I went out to eat and ,whenever possible, I'd arrange to go out at weekends when I had syns saved.
As you don't go out very often then, I agree, enjoy yourself, take the hit and then get back on plan.
And put me down for meg's party too. I was miffed at not being invited to her 70th so I plan to gatecrash her 100th! We'll definitely go off plan that night!:rotfl:0 -

Hi all. Just been on the SW website to refresh my memory about a few things, and decided to watch the main Food Optimising video again. Have to say, I don't really understand how they can say over and over again that you can "eat as much free food as you like, unlimited, night or day" because in my experience it just isn't true. If I take them at their word, I don't lose weight, it's that simple. Talking about pasta, rice, spuds, the stuff that makes you feel full and satisfied. I generally take the view that if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. What they actually mean is, as much as you like, so long as it's not too much, which is fair enough and far more believable. Still think it's a good plan but find that aspect of the marketing a bit misleading. What are everyone else's experiences/thoughts?0

Well, yes there is the caveat obviously. You can't eat as much chocolate as you want and lose weight - but they specify it's free food. You're also meant to have 1/3 of your plate for each meal speed foods to aid your weight loss. If you just ate pasta, potatoes etc without veg, fruit etc then you wouldn't do so well.
I don't think it's misleading really. I think that maybe this plan isn't suited to you, possibly.0 -
Morello, I think somewhere it says eat until you are satisfied i.e. don't overeat.. I know our consultant always said that. I think it is a little misleading until you read the small print as it were, but that's just a clever marketing ploy..M&S skinny burgers with salad for tea. I believe these are free on SW. have a nice night all.
Let us know what you think of these, I bought some but I wasn't that impressed. The texture seemed a bit weird. And put me down for meg's party too. I was miffed at not being invited to her 70th so I plan to gatecrash her 100th! We'll definitely go off plan that night!:rotfl:

Made a lovely tea tonight, sweet potato falafels  definitely adding that one to my recipe list, recipe link below if anyone wants it, although I swapped the chickpea flour out for a can of chickpeas and blended them.
