psychopathbabble, I do go to a group. It was firstly for the motivation/accountability. I find social media (Instagram in particular) better for that now. Then it became about the social side of it as I had made friends. Most of those friends have since quit or changed groups. Now it's mostly about the awards. :rotfl:

What an achievement BEG! Well done to you and all the other losers!

Went for a day out to Alnwick Castle today and it has p***ed down all day. I had hoped to get a nice SW friendly jacket spud or soup in the cafe but the queue was huge and we were cold and wet so we darted into the chippy next door :o It was a much smaller portion than the local chip shops and I guessed at 10 Syns, but just googled it and it looks more like 20 :( Full menu for the day:

    B - Carrot baked oat muffins (B)
    D - Fish and chips (20)
T - SW frozen chicken saag with green beans
    Other - Coffee x2 (A, 2), tea (A), water, Muller Light, hot chocolate (2)
    TOTAL: 24 :o

Nothing more I can say really! Had a lovely day and I did enjoy those fish and chips! See you tomorrow all!

PS I know a few of you are into football - my team has just gone top of the Champ with virtually the last kick of the game :D:D:D

What a shame it has been so wet for your visit to Alnwick Castle. It's been a total washout here today too - dont know where it all came from. Thankfully you enjoyed the fish and chip which at least is a bonus. :D.

I'm torturing myself atm - watching Bake Off Creme de la Creme - wow is all I will say :rotfl:

Some lovely posts today. Well done on your loss Lois. I was like you and lost weight when I was pregnant because of sickness. I think you're wise to try to maintain your weight during pregnancy Psycho, much easier than losing it afterwards.

Not a great day here. Stayed on plan until this evening but then carvery and wine syns. Must do better ttomorrow as I need to go to WI on Thursday

Good going, b_e_g (and Super wow for the 10st) and New Me.

Well, today wasn’t good for SW. Lovely lunch of steak pie (I know – I should have left the pastry but it was so light and fluffy and mmmm), potatoes and peas with my friend.

Tonight I forgot to take my mini cheddars to game but I found a few sherbet lemons in the glove compartment (oops!). I needed them as 1) team gave away a daft goal, 2) had a man sent off 3) gave a way a penalty – then 4) scored two goals in the last 3 mins to get a draw! Expect the unexpected.

    Wednesday’s Plan
Breakfast: hexb muesli, apple & pear slices
Lunch: crustless quiche with syboes, peppers, bacon, rf cheese (1), mixed salad
Dinner: fish pie, broccoli, rf ice cream (1 ½ ), pineapple
Snacks: grapes & hexa cheese, 2 gingernuts (5)

    Hello all

Been on holiday which was fabulous but has resulted in a very deserved 6.5lb gain:eek::eek::eek:

The booze and breakfast buffet got me, that's all I can say so back to SP for the rest of this week and hopefully start getting rid of this...

Sounds like an exciting night for football all round Greentiger! :D And sounds like a fab holiday Orlao!!

I've just done an inventory of the freezer and found I have ten batch cooked meals in there, so that's nice! I'd planned to do a bit of a big shop this afternoon but thinking about it I don't actually have any time to cook before Saturday so there's no point. I'm going to get some salady bits to use up some ham on dinners this week, then eat from the freezer for tea.

    Today's plan:
B - Baked oat carrot muffins
D - Chicken and veg soup
T - Beef and mushroom stroganoff with couscous (2.5 Syns)
There'll also be a mugshot in there somewhere too as I'm teaching this aft then running at teatime so my routine's a bit all over the place.

I must say I'm not exactly feeling fit and healthy at the mo and have no idea what the scales will say on Friday, but it is TOTM so I guess I'm bound to feel a bit bloaty and horrid. I just sometimes feel I only really have two weeks in the month to really go at the weightloss as pre-TOTM I feel really emotional and down and just want to eat everything in sight, and then TOTM I'm all bloaty and constipated (sorry TMI). I feel like it's always two steps forward and one step back. Does anyone else feel like they're battling their body half the time?

I have felt like that in the past. I got the implant in Feb and came off the pill and everything's changed! Kind of in a good way but I'm having to get used to the uncertainty of it all after 11 years of knowing exactly what was going on.

    Morning all :)

The weather is lovely down here in the SW, however we did have a huge storm at the weekend with high winds and heavy rain and it sounds like the tail end of that has headed up country. As England's weather seems to start down here and head north, here's hoping this sunny weather will follow the wind and rain.

The sunshine put me in the mood for spring cleaning yesterday so I cleaned the windows outside of the shop and our caravan. I was worn out afterwards so it must have been good for body magic!

Orlao - welcome back, hope you had a good time. Don't worry about the holiday gain, you'll soon get rid of that when you get back on plan.

    Have a good day everyone.
