I try and stick to sw during the week and have what I like at the weekend. This generally works for me (except birthdays :o). Also keeping in with the lovely folks here defiantly helps :A

That works for me when I want to maintain but not lose. I can only lose if I have only one off plan meal a week. Everyone is different though.

I'm feeling determined to get it off again. Long may it last!

Actually looking at that I think that might be the recipe I used! Thought it was from an old magazine but apparently not!

Think it works out about 1 or 1.5 syns a portion (for the hoisin sauce & cornflour).

Was reading in the mag last night about the girl who lost 11 stone in a year ( I think) and she was saying that when she had a gain she was upset but realised she had gotten quite slack with weighing out Healthy Extras and syn portions etc.

And she went back to weighing everything out and writing it down and had a big loss the next week.

I think you've done so well and are not far off target etc so a 2lb gain is really nothing and it could be water weight, fluctuations, anything really so don't get down about it, just keep doing what your doing.

I always measure the HEs as I know how easy it is to wander away from the correct amount. A lot of the time we also measure pasta/rice in attempt to exercise a bit of portion control. As for fluid retention you may be onto something there and also retention in the other dept too but that is a bit too much info :o. Have had a real hankering for fish and chips for months now so we took Mum out today as part of her Easter treat and I had my fish and chips. I showed a little bit of restraint and left the batter from the underneath side of the fish. Oh and I had a cream cake when I got home instead of dessert at the pub. That's it now though I am back in the game and the whingy moo has left the room (for now that is :rotfl:).

Didn't manage jeans at Sainsbobs this morning - Sainsbobs (straight leg ones were just a smidge on the low side) and Goks were more like a jegging and I didn't fancy anything quite as tight on legs as I already have jeggings. Will have to look further afield when I get chance - M&S and David Emmanuelle. I did however pick up a pair of navy trousers for £6 and a lovely jumper reduced to £9 but the best bit it was a size 12  :D.

Hope the poorly DHs are better soon.

Good evening! Well done for SOTW Rebster, and all the other losers :T

Thanks for all the good wishes about my job, Maman I have a part time teaching contract, but it's 'intervention' work, not normal teaching with loads of planning and marking. Couldn't be happier, for the moment anyway.

For my lunch out yesterday I had broccoli quiche with salad bar bits: pickles, coleslaw and potato salad. Not too bad at all. Then I had a Bakewell Tart :rotfl: This was at about 2.30, and by the time I'd been shopping and got home and faffed on washing up and so on it was 8pm by the time I came to making tea and I realised I wasn't actually hungry so had a hot chocolate instead. I know it's not the SW way to skip meals but I actually felt quite good about myself for listening to my body for once rather than eating because I hadn't had three meals.

Today was a nice relaxed day at home so I kept it as SP as poss:
B - Salmon, poached egg and mushrooms
D - Italian chicken and tomato soup (I urge you to try this, it's delish!)
T - One-pot chilli chicken served with fine beans and Aunt Bessie's C&S mash (0.5)
Other - Coffees x5 (HEA, 6), Alpen Light x1 (I believe this is Speed if only one?), crumbled meringue (2.5) with vanilla and choc Mullerlight and passion fruit coulis (1), hot chocolate x2 (4)
    TOTAL: 14

Aim for tomorrow is drink less coffee - such a huge amount of Syns from sugar and extra milk (ie over my HEA). I don't like or trust sweetener unfortunately.

A few people have mentioned Instagram - can you let me know your username and I'll [STRIKE]stalk[/STRIKE] follow you? I'm @loserlucy :D

Hope hubby's recovering well NewMe and hope everyone else has had a good day! x

    Hello everyone
How do you start again? I was going to sw, lost half a stone in a month - really into it! ....... then messed about, new kitchen, family christening, stress with work, comfort eating, dog died, weekend awY, you name it I've got an excuse why I went off plan and put it all on again!
Last weekend went awAy and couldn't believe how awful I looked in my clothes and in the fotos!
Need to get Back on plan, hoping to rejoin on Saturday - but how do you get back on plan when you have been grazing all day every day and appear together constantly hungry. I'm so down and want to do it but know it's going to be soon hard!!! Help!
