:T to treeny, belsy and morello

OH announced at the weekend he's going to go down the calorie controlled route, still having overnight oats for brekkie and eating sw friendly meals for dinner, but when he's out and about sticking to low cal food to come under 1800 for the whole day.

That's the great thing about SW is that it can fit well with other ways of eating if you want. We used to have a regular poster who used myfitnesspal alongside SW and it fits well with 5:2.

My DH eats SW breakfasts and dinners but at lunchtime we do our own thing. He'll have a sandwich and a biscuit but I invariably cook myself something SW friendly.

I've planned my menu for today but not sure whether DH is here for dinner or not. If he's out then I might have something indulgent like egg and chips and the chilli can stay in the freezer for another day:D.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
L: fried LO veg, cold meat and pickles
D: SW chilli con carne with rice
Syns: none planned unless I have a few syns of chocolate

Hope you're OK lantanna, not seen you posting for a few days:).

Glorious day here, hopefully a sign that spring is coming.

I'm here, just came on to say I'm taking a little break from Slimming World and trying a trainers diet and exercise programme. I have nothing to lose so I'm giving it a go.

I'll be back, I'm just so busy in work at the minute.

    Back to catch up soon!
    Hope everyone is well.

    Morning :)

Well, I survived the weekend, but I'm feeling decidedly cream crackered today!

Happy to report the result of this mornings WI with a loss of 1lb.

Well done to everyone posting losses this week. To quote young Mr Grace, "you're all doing very well!" (That's probably lost on the younger members of the group, it's from a sitcom, Are You Being Served.)

Hugs to Beanie, hope things improve very soon.

Best of luck to everyone for this week.

Love it! That's my favourite meal too.

We had lunch out in a Spanish restaurant and the menu said calamari Andalusia so feeling adventurous, I chose that. When it arrived, it was squid, egg and chips.. and it was delicious!

Morning everyone! Well done for all the great losses coming in! :j

Had a very off plan meal on Saturday but was well needed. I'm finding I have to give myself an off day to work towards every so often or I go stir crazy! Back on it straight away yesterday though and am going to be careful the rest of the week. I'm thinking I may try to do a day or 2 on SP to try and tip the balance from the weekend! Not sure how doable it will be for me as I tend to eat quite carb heavy.

    Today:

    B - overnight oats (heb)
    L - Subway chicken salad (2) quavers (5)
D - bacon veg pasta with parmesan (hea), ff greek yoghurt, berries, meringues (2)
S - milky way crispy roll (6.5) banana, clementine

Mrs H - I have a morning group too. Things like cut up LM/SW sausages, baked oats or crustless quiches done in a mini muffin tray always go down well. So does anything sweet, like options truffles or the 8 syn lemon drizzle. If all else fails, fruit! :D

Our consultant never said anything about a taster this week. Hopefully she's not planning to skip the Greatest Loser award, as she didn't do Couple of the Year last month! In fairness, we only have two couples in group and they were both quite new at the time. But I think I'd be in the running for this one, so I might give her a nudge about it. Want the shiny. :rotfl:

ETA: For anyone considering joining a group or online, SW just posted this link on their FB page which has an offer.

Everything has gone a bit pear shaped today! Had originally planned a Green day but didn't have time to make the soup. So instead it's another EE day!

    B - porridge (HEB); 1 tsp honey (1); strawberries
    L - beef & mustard sandwich, pickled onions (6)
    D - Egg, chips, beans & mushrooms

A bit low on Speed so will try to have some fruit later.

HEA will be milk as usual.

BEG - thanks for the reminder re taster this week. I'm another who goes to a morning group - it's definitely more challenging than an evening group thinking what to take. I usually do falafels or chocolate brownies - still need to decide what to do. One of the biggest problems is finding something to make the previous evening which will still be OK the next morning - I'm not good at cooking something when I get up!
