Can anyone recommend a good set of scales? I've had some cheapies for around 10 years which have been fine until recently when they've started sticking a lot. So I bought some more cheapies which I expected to be just as good but they're terrible, half a stone difference every time I get on them and need resetting constantly. I just want some for weight, not bothered about other measurements.
Any recommendations please? Reviews show Salters as good but I'm never sure whether to trust reviews or not.

eliza last time my scales went bust I went onto the argos website, ordered by price and bought the cheapest set that didn't have any negative reviews about inconsistent weights.
Made it to Friday and my kitchen is still clean, and I've had healthy meals every day! OH has been complaining that we've not been spending any time together, but tbh I'm not too bothered. I feel so much better this week having eaten healthily and getting up and not seeing piles of dirty dishes everywhere, it's totally been worth forcing myself to keep on top of things. I made a big pot of chilli on wed night which was wed, thurs and tonight's tea, and OH said he'd do the washing up for that, but on pushing, he admitted that it wouldn't happen until the weekend, so I powered on and got it done. Also been to the gym twice, so I'm really hoping for a good weigh in on Monday. I'll just have to be strong against the inevitable cry for takeaway from OH, or temptations during a possible meetup with my friend.
Hope everyone is feeling strong, and that your weather's ok - was there snow oop north?0 -

At Least my SotW basket isn't the only one thats undesirable
Mr H has decided as I feel rotten and he does too it's take away for tea. I don't particually fancy a take away but nor do I fancy cooking either  we will split a chicken bhuna and portion of rice between us, No doubt he will eat naan bread too. Wouldn't mind but I had lunch at the pub..... jacket potato, beans and cheese (probably only He A as it was mozeralla and i asked for 1/2 a portions) and have eaten my syns for the day on chocolate :oLiving in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Scrap that he's decided he wants pizza so I had a egg sandwich thin (b) with a mug of soup and a chopped up apple. Pizza really doesn't agree with me!!Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Some excellent losses since I last posted! Well done all.:T
Sorry about getting you going on MK kaz but I'm sure you'll be pleased eventually. What I like is that the bits I've done stay tidy:).
Sorry to hear your DH is still being unhelpful treeny but well done you for sticking to your plan. I'm afraid if he expected me to wait until the weekend to get the washing up done, strong words might be said. Stay strong.:)
At last I've done a meal plan and shop. It's been odd this week managing from the freezer and cupboards and eating out a couple of times. Last night I went to the '6 chip restaurant' so syns weren't too bad although when I got home I did have a ginger cookie.:o Except for one more meal out I'm hoping to stay on plan for the week.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: none (just realised that:eek:)fish parcels, SW chips, mixed green veg (mange tout, asparagus, peas) and mushrooms
Syns: weekend wine:D0 -
Have ordered the MK decluttering book from library maman but I fear there will probably be a long wait. I usually keep well on top of stuff but thought I might just pick up a few tips. I think DH will start to twitch when he sees this book land on the coffee table :rotfl::rotfl:.
Have a good weekend everyone.

but they seem to have increased in price by £10 since then!!!!
Jings, tweets, that’s some snow! I was out and about today and had to take my coat off! :rotfl: Lovely spring sunshine for a change.
Pre-breakfast: banana
Breakfast: didn’t happen!
Lunch: baked potato, tuna mayo (was eating out so guessing 3), salad
Snack: 20g Bombay Mix (5)
Dinner: teriyaki salmon (2), noodles, salad of lettuce, tomatoes, syboes, radishes, cucumber & beetroot
Snacks will be: hexb toast with hexa cheese, mmmmm!
Another Dechox day done and dusted. :A
