Tete - I have baked oats cold as I often take them to group. I think they're still nice, you can nearly pretend it's a breakfast muffin! Better warm with custard (mullerlight, if you can save syns) though.
b_e_g - DH was definitely not liking the goulash. But he has extended Hungarian family so they use the authentic recipes. May have to ask MIL for it and then try and make SW friendly. I thought it was fine!0 -
June I had read that the baked oats weren't great cold and it put me off so that's good to know. I would say to use a medium egg too as with a large one it can taste a bit eggy. I usually put vanilla essence or cinnamon in mine to counter the egginess too. I'm making them sound vile but I actually really like them
and they're very filling.

Brilliant beanie - so pleased for you :T

When we did SW pizza using a wrap for a base he said that whilst the meal was very nice it wasn't a pizza. Great idea to try and do a SW version of the authentic goulash recipe.

Had a 4lbs Loss, which brings me to 1st 8lbs.:j Got my slimmer of the month award from last week, (weighed and ran as I was on a deadline for work)
Got my second Slimmer of the week award too, (one squashed banana and a variety of tinned stuff that I won't eat.
2 tins of fish-sardines and something called "red fish", (non fish eater) 2 tins of peas, (dont eat, only eat fresh/frozen peas), some baked beans, (don't like, will eat any amout of fresh beans though) a can of lentils,- yay, I can use this, and a carton of passata-useful for everything!
I put in a mugshot (got on my last slimmer of the week) a tube of tomato puree and a box of oxo cubes as everyone seems to go nuts about oxo potatoes. So I got them back again. :rotfl:
I will take the offending articles to the food bank (except the squashed banana) so at least it won't get wasted.
I should be more grateful really but the only tinned food I use is chopped tomatoes/passata.
I always bring in nice -ie fresh -fruit or something store cupboard ish useful (well I think its useful, others may not agree!) but our basket always seems to have the dregs of the cupboard or almost off fruit.
I suppose not everyone can afford to give what I'd like in the basket, and we all have different tastes, but there were about 25 people who stayed to group. Could do better!
Last time I also got 1 lonely twinings fruit tea sachet. Just the one!
I too much prefer the certificate. And a sticker. Got to have the sticker!!
Well done to all you other losers too. And those that stayed the same, I did last week, bit -4 this week so I suppose it evens out. I am hoping for a -2 next week.
My most exciting bit this week though was getting dressed for work on Tues and realising that my fresh out of the wash trousers were too loose. I've now binned all my size 20 trousers and am in my 18s. Tops are still not quite 20s, so a way to go yet, but I always lose from my bottom first and I am an upside down triangle/apple shape. (Yes, very attractive:p)

Hi everyone ~ happy to report in with 3lb loss for the last 2 weeks (I didn't weigh myself last week)
That's 5 1/2 stone in total ~ wow  but I'm so pleased :j
It's taken me over 13 months though and roughly losing 1 or 2lb per week (and a few sts's) . Slow and steady worked for me.0 -
Reporting in with a 0.5lb loss please Shala - not great, but it was star week, so could have been a lot worse:).
Maman - Not sure whether to thank you or moan- I'd never heard of Marie Kondo before, but looked her up after you mentioned her and have been decluttering konmari style for over a week now and still not done:eek:. We had what I thought was a good clear out when we moved 5 years ago, but I'm still finding plenty more to get rid of as a result of her suggestions - maybe am just in a better place to discard some of the "excess stuff" this time around. Sure it will be worth it in the end:D.

I *think* I missed reporting in last week - I was 1lb on  but this week I'm a STS which is very, very lucky considering the week I've had
I'm taking it one meal at a time but I'm back on SW properly as of now.
My B was half a pot of skyr yogurt with defrosted cherries and raspberries.
I've even measured put 250ml of milk as my HEA :A
I'm determined to be in the next stone bracket down by my birthday, which gives me 3 WI's. HorseyKaz - Kondo is pretty addictive! I did the whole house last year but still find things that I'm no longer valuing. Right now I have my eye on a white platter that we don't use enough to justify how annoying it is to store. So I think it'll be in the next bag. Thankfully our local leisure centre has donation bins that take stuff (not just clothes) so it's easy for me to give away.
Cheeky peek at the scales today shows I should be in for a good loss tomorrow, but my scales have gotten a bit out of sync with the SW ones as I keep losing odd amounts (e.g. 0.7lb last week) which aren't showing up on their scales. Hoping they'll play catch up this week!
Today is SP...
Breakfast - Toast, fruit and coffee (0.5 A, B1 + 3 syns for spread)
Lunch - Speed soup, Velvet Crunch (4.5 syns)
Dinner - Nacho Feast with BNS wedges (0.5 A for a bit of cheese)
Snacks - Apple, Hifi Lights (B2)
I may leave syns at that since it's weigh day tomorrow. But otherwise, party rings!0 -
