Happy Birthday BEG!! And congrats on SOTW Hurdy.:dance:
It's TOTM for me and having surgery on my knee this evening, so am starving for surgery but my hormones are begging me to eat chocolate... Thankfully am not allowed!!
Just want the surgery done so I can have something to eat, oh and for the week to be over so I can get rid of the bloated feeling that I get!! Probably TMI, if so, apologies.
Congrats for all the losers and STS's and hugs for gainers. Xx0 -
Happy Birthday BEG
Thanks New Me
Still not feeling my usual self but today:
breakfast: bran flakes (heB) with milk from HeA, peppermint tea
snack: banana
lunch: homemade leek and tattie soup
snack: Satsuma
tea: savoury mince - 5 syns for gravy etc
syns: chocolate fingers but still below 15
other drinks: NAS squash
Making a mental plan ahead of our league weekend away next weekend (such a romantic valentines weekend!). My thoughts are: hearty breakfast at the hotel (scrambled egg, baked beans, bacon all fat removed and HeB toast), fruit for lunch/snacks and then a low syn Harvester tea both Friday and Saturday. Not sure about the Sunday tea yet************************************

Just back from a day out visiting a wine producer which was very enjoyable. There was wine tasting and a buffet after the tour so a few syns were consumed!
Thanks for trying with the chart Shala (who says computers make life easier?!) and well done hurdygurdy for SOTW.
Happy birthday BEG, have a lovely day and make sure you have something naught but nice to celebrate.
Good luck with giving up smoking Meg, it's not easy but definitely worth it. Are you using anything like patches etc? Have you thought about e-cigs/vaping?
Hope you enjoy the ratatouille Maman.
Good luck with the knee op Belsyboop - what are you having done?
Hope everybody else is ok, congratulations all the losers, good luck with weigh ins, hugs to strugglers.

Happy Birthday BEG
Well done Hurdygurdy 4lbs off is absolutely fabulous :j
-2.5lbs for me please Shala
Busy week but not much appetite for some odd reason (very odd as all that know me would tell you) so maybe that explains a decent loss?0 -
Happy birthday BEG and congrats on SOTW HurdyGurdy.
Thanks for the feedback on the SP day Maman. Do you know if I'm OK with melba toasts? Again seems a bit wrong as they're carby but I think they're 100% synned? You're right, I've not been having an extra heB - I might have misinterpreted but I got the impression from what I've read that you should only really have the extra heB if you're doing SP long term?0 -
Some really good losses coming in so far today. :T to orlao, arkers and marksshell,
That sounds like a good plan from your tournament weekend lush. Lots of people at my group eat at the Harvester, it's really easy to have an on plan meal there. For hotel breakfasts, I find they rarely do wholemeal bread but lots do fruit or HEB cereals for starters. For your Sunday tea, is that eating out too? What about a carvery or is it something easy to come home to?
Not seen wiz about. Hope you're OK if you're lurking?
ETA: I would think that Melba toasts are fine as syns as they aren't even HEBs. I'd have thought you should have an extra HEB as you're not meant to do it long term so it should apply to any full day just like extras do on Green an d Red days. I've not read that you can't but it's rarely discussed in my group after the initial explanation a year ago.0 -
Distinct attack of "the munchies" today. Had a main meal (syn free) at lunchtime today - so dinner started with a bit of boiled brown rice cooked with smallest possible amount of my milk "ration" and fruit and added sweetness with tiny bit of ChocShot, then I had two slices of wholemeal toast (from "ration") and I'm still hungry - so I'm boiling up 2 hardboiled eggs for myself.
Think it must be the cold weather doing this....
Trying to gird the willpower together at the moment by reminding myself that I've been checking out the clothes shops for the new clothes I know I need (but mustn't buy until I'm back to correct size). Telling myself firmly - "I am NOT allowed to buy any clothes until I'm correct size. Mustnt spend what I pay for clothes for ones that will only do for a couple of months". I've seen a teeshirt I want for £22 and a couple of nice tunic dresses for £60 or so each and 2 each of those items would be £164 down the drain if I bought them in a size that will be too big for me.
I do hope those boiled eggs in a minute are going to do the trick - as it feels too cold to have sparkling mineral water with squeeze of lemon I've been having to "fill" my stomach sometimes.0 -

Having an arthroscopy, number four on the same knee to be precise!! Hopefully this one fixes it and I can get off crutches as have been on them for 6 months. Being able to do exercise will certainly help weight loss! Fingers crossed that everything is ok with it.
Only 25 and seem like to have the right knee of an 89 year old!0
