Feeling a bit better than I was. Throat seems to have eased. I just keep waking up in the middle of the night (3.30am this morning) with a splitting headache. Don't understand it. Will make sure I go to the doctor if it doesn't stop.

Managed to go to work okay, so that's an extra £21 for working on a Bank Holiday.

Just popping in quickly before bed.

No headache problems today, but now my neck and right shoulder are hurting. Must be sleeping funny or something. Got a bit more sleep last night anyway.

£30 cash to add today from a free bingo bonus. Also claimed a £5 Amazon voucher from Swagbucks.

Been at work this evening - not overtime though. I've got some tomorrow.

Another £30 to add today from another bingo bonus (took me around 4 hours on and off to play through the wagering requirements this morning).

  • I hope your neck and shoulder are feeling better today, Emz. It's a lovely sunny morning here and I hope the sun is shining on you too:)

Well done on the bingo bonuses. That's a nice amount of profit to make:T

Lovely and sunny here too CBC :). Just watching some tennis before work.

Shoulder and neck not too bad now, although I'm still not sleeping well. No idea why.

Thought I'd post on here before work instead of doing it last thing tonight.

Received the £5 Swagbucks Amazon voucher and sent it to my sister, so owe her £45 now.

Got another £13 worth of overtime I'm doing today. Starting at 3pm. Been given another few hours for next week too, which brings me near the £150 mark.

Also been lucky with some more bingo bonus funds. Managed to get £50 today. I don't think there will be anymore, as I'm running out of sites with free bonuses. Some of them were from my birthday last month.

So, goals for May look like this:

    1. Get £50 worth of Amazon vouchers so I can pay my sister back for my mum's birthday present. - £5/£50 (£10 pending)

    2. Earn an extra £500 (was going to say £300, but might as well go for it. This won't include vouchers, only cash). - £144/£500

    3. Give my mum £100 towards OH's PS4 (got it for his 40th birthday last year, needs paying off at the end of August. Cost £350, so will aim to pay £100 in May, June and July and then £50 in August - trying to get organised with this so I don't have to rush to find £350 at the last minute). - £0/£100 (might give her the bingo money for this)

    4. Be more house proud!! I'm not great at putting my clothes away (just tend to dump them on a chair), keeping up with the washing, keeping the kitchen tidy etc. I'll keep an eye on this during the month and keep mindful that I'm trying to be tidier!! - Not going to lie, the house is a mess!!

    5. Update on here every day - helps to keep me going with the goals. - Doing well with this for a change ;)

Thank you - don't mean to make you worry, sorry :(

I've not been too good. Started a few weeks back. Just wasn't sleeping very well and kept waking up with a dry mouth and throat during the night. Thought it might be tonsillitis, but it wasn't. Started getting really bad headaches when I got up in the morning. Went off my food as it tasted funny and lost half a stone pretty quickly. Tired all the time as I wasn't sleeping much.

My chest was also tighter than usual, but not in a way I've had before. My heart was racing (and I mean really racing), which didn't help. Anyway, turns out I'd been taking my ventolin inhaler too much. I'd been using it as a little boost for my lungs when I started work or had to do a bit of walking. My doctor said to use it when needed, but I didn't think it would do this to me.

I've not had it for a couple of days, but still feel rubbish. My heart rate has slowed down, but I'm still getting the headaches and dry mouth. I'm getting a bit more sleep now and am trying to eat more. I was off sick Monday because I was being sick, managed to drag myself in Weds and Thurs, but was off again yesterday. I'm due in today, but don't think I'll make it. I've got another headache and the room spins when I stand up. Not good if you've got to be on your feet for 6 hours.

Work have been pretty good. I had to cancel all my overtime as 8 hour days were definitely out of the question.

I've been thinking about looking online for some earning opportunities so I can go back to being self-employed and quit working. It would be so much easier if I didn't have to drag myself into work when I'm feeling like this. I feel bad for letting them down and making my colleagues cover me. It's not fair on them or me.

My plan at the moment is to keep to my minimum hours (if I can even do them :() and try to get something in place that earns enough to enable me to quit.

In all this chaos, OH's parents thought it would be a good idea to visit. They are currently residing in our spare room.
