    Thanks CBC :)

  • You must be relieved to be getting so much overtime but please don't wear yourself out by committing to too much work.

Money is important when there are debts to pay but nowhere near as important as health, especially for someone like you:)

Thanks CBC - Don't worry, I won't overdo it. I'm generally just starting 1-2 hours before my normal shifts start, so I'm trying not to work any extra days. I've got one extra evening, but that's only 3 hours.

    Sounds ideal:T
  • Fantastic result on the car sale, all that nagging has really paid off! I have noticed lots of really nice second hand sofa's on my local FB selling page and I am more than surprised how often some people change their furniture. Would it be worth considering looking at second hand or is your heart set on a new one?

We did look around on eBay and Gumtree. We have however found a company in Birmingham that has the exact sofa we want. It works out at around £750 including delivery, which is about £500 less than the big furniture shops for practically the same sofa.

A little set back for the beginning of May - I've got tonsillitis :(, or at least I think I have. Very sore throat, dry mouth and throat, difficulty eating and swallowing, banging headache practically all the time (which is stopping me sleeping ) and gunk at the back of my throat. I'll pop off to the doctors on Tuesday. I already take an antibiotic with penicillin in, but will see my GP to make sure they don't want to put me on something else.

Fortunately my chest is fine and I'm not coughing a lot, so I know it's not a cold. I'm going to try and go into work tomorrow. I really don't want to go sick if I can help it (although I would if it were affecting my chest).

Claimed a £10 Amazon voucher this morning, so will put that towards the £50 I owe my sister when it comes through.
