    Morning all

DD has a doctor's appointment at 9,30 so I will have to get her up soon. DH is back at work so I need to walk the dog before we go. Other than that I just need to do stuff at home although I have to go to Mr T 's either today or tomorrow so I may do that today.

    Hugs valli

    Have a good day all

  • Morning all!

Back to paid stuff today, boo hoo.
Yesterday I did well, finished the list, well sort of. The place looks a bit better anyway. Also walked dog, did a paperwork frog or two. The main thing was doing a quarter of the ironing, it took me blooming ages!
I also finished painting the ceiling in the corridor downstairs.

Today I'm going to try my best, but there is the paid stuff getting in the way, plus we have the after-christmas buffet at the in laws.

valli hugs. These things are not easy, but we do the best for our animals x

    Morning all.

    Valli - huge hugs

At some point last night I've done something to aggravate the wrist injury I had before Christmas so I need to be careful what I do. I really need to go to the bank today, so I'm going to get moving, have my shower, wash the few dishes that are there and then head to my nearest bank, coming home via Mr A for milk and a couple of other bits. I already have a wash load in, so that can go in the dryer while I have my shower. The dog also needs walking, but that can wait until I get back in the hopes my wrist might be hurting a little less.

Speaking of the dog, he's still sulking because I dared to have someone in the house yesterday that wasn't DD or just delivering something. However he is now eating. I might have to have my friend call in whenever DD goes away if it means the dog starts eating :rotfl:

  • Morning

    Thinking of you Valli x

And happy birthday JDs DS. I keep thinking that this time next year my DS will be 18, like you I am not sure how that happened!

I have grandparents visiting tomorrow for tea and as I have only been able to confirm it this morning I havent a clue what I am going to feed them. DS has a couple of friends coming to sleepover tomorrow night too so it could be bedlam.

Poor DS1 is feeling it at the moment. We live in the middle of nowhere and all his friends live in town 5 miles away. We ferry him about as much as we can but sometimes he does miss out.

Well I need to get out of my jim jams and start to do some housework. Cant hoover yet as everyone else still in bed but the washing machine is going. Lovely day here.

Have a good Wednesday everyone x
  • Yorkshirelass - It's obviously very hard work being 18 as he is still in bed!

Been flying about this morning! Have moved computer into dining room as it has been bugging me in the front room:)

Sides all wiped and wm still running its self-clean wash. Kitchen sides all cleaned and kitchen window washed!

Traditionally I have always taken down xmas decs and tree on 28th, so that DS doesn't feel like his birthday is an extension of xmas, but this year I have decided to leave it up. It looks so pretty! Cards have been taken down - like yours frizzlef, they are getting in the way!

Monday - a bit of everything!

    Level 2
Dust and deweb all through downstairs

    Level 3
    S&S the downstairs loo

    Extras
    Sort your laundry
    Back up computer
    Set up bullet journal

Tuesday - kitchen and dining room

    Level 1
    Sort all the washing up

    Level 2
DR - wipe over the table Wish I could but there is still stuff all over it!

    Extras
Any laundry dried today? Put away what doesn't need ironing and sort the rest on to your piles left from yesterday
Spend some time with your new diary and a cuppa!
    Buy birthday cake

  • Hugs Valli and everyone else who needs them.

Just popping in to say hello, we had no phone for over 24 hours, as did much of York.

We are dry and safe as are all the Yorkie kids. but there is so much devastation here.

When the phones went so did many other things you take for granted - like cash points and paying by cards in shops. York became a cash only society. Really scary...
