I've change my mind about going out. I'm really tired despite 7 hours sleep, plans with a friend have been postponed and since I have bread and milk I don't need to go out today, I can always pop to the corner shop if I need to. I'm going to get my laptop out and do planning & stickers for my diary for the next year while watching stuff on the TV. That's reasonably low wrist use. Dog is in the yard playing with his toys as its a bright and sunny day. I'll set up his treat puzzles to keep him occupied when he's had enough of that. First though I need some lunch!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Been out on an errand. Cat has taken to cat milk like a duck to water so I shall get her some more; she is also sleeping on the sofa and being thoroughly spoiled. main thing will be to watch and wait; they gave her a steroid injection which would last for a month.

It's a bright, breezy day so I have bedding blowing on the line and I need to get some tidying and cleaning done.

Jacket spuds in the over for later.

    More hugs for Valli

Managed gym this morning though it wasn't zumba as advertised, but All Over Body Workout - not dissimilar to the Body Attack I did yesterday, so I now know which exercises were responsible for my aching hips as we did them again today!

    - One load through dishwasher and put away.
    - Christmas cracker arrangement and friend's arrangement removed from church as we don't use the church between Christmas and Mothering Sunday so the flowers may as well be appreciated elsewhere. - Dropped friend's arrangement off to her and gave her a lift up the village.
    - filled bird feeder outside my study
    - picked up a few clothes from bedroom floor.

Very tempting to do something in the garden as it is so sunny here, but I have 6 reports at various stages of completion which must be sent off by next Tuesday. Mr N has gone back to work for 3 days, specifically to let me get on with my work. Must do some before stopping for lunch.

(((Hugs)) Valli. Glad the cat is happy with her special milk. Spoil her as much as you can!

Welcome (back) to all new (and returning) Flyladies

Got weighed at SW this morning and am still 3.5 lb outside my permitted target range, so I shall be very careful what I eat and drink this week. However, my bathroom scales said that I had already lost about 4 lb since returning from holiday (I didn't get weighed at group last week) so I am back on track.

DH's ambulance ride last week has had the effect of a loud wake-up call. He has been very careful with his treats this week and has managed to lose a whopping 5.5 lb :D Hopefully this positive attitude will continue - he is so much nicer to live with!

Have checked finances (OK - phew!), started the process of changing GP (both of us), and done a top-up F&V shop. Now about to take a walk with DH up our local hill: wellies at the ready. When we get back we need to coordinate our 2016 diaries, which are already filling up at an alarming rate.

I promise I will start proper flying again tomorrow.

Monday - a bit of everything!
Rehoming - find a convenient spot and gather up all the new and existing items that need a home. Spend 10 min sorting into piles according to which room they will go to. Maybe pop them in old carrier bags and enlist some help to "deliver" them to the right homes!
Dust and deweb all through downstairs
    Sweep or vac too
Tidy your tree or xmas decs - are all the chocs eaten? Can you dust around / under?
Sort through the fridge - any leftovers that need to be binned? What do you need between now and new year?
Wipe down all the kitchen counters and the sink
S&S the downstairs loo / cloak.
Start the ironing, if you're joining the challenge! Sort it into 4 piles and do the first one!
Treat yourself to something light and healthy for lunch - do you have time for HM soup?

Tuesday - kitchen and dining room
    Wipe down your large appliances
Run the WM / DW on a hot wash and clean the filters
Any other surfaces to clear / wipe?
    Wash a window
Back to the kitchen - pick a cupboard- empty it and wipe the shelves. Only put back what you need. Can anything be ditched?
Any laundry dried today? Put away what doesn't need ironing and sort the rest on to your piles left from yesterday
    HHI
Spend some time with your new diary and a cuppa!

Welcome back to the returnees and a huge welcome to the newbies xx
Valli when I took my last two mogs into the vets, after having treatment for about a month each, the vet knew as soon as I walked into her surgery..I didn't even have to say anything to her as I couldn't trust myself to do it without wailing..although saying that I did wail in the end..lol We also let them eat anything that they fancied which seemed to prolong life a wee bit longer :D Huge hugs honey xx

Think I may do a wee bit of flying today, thankfully the house doesn't look that bad as I have been pottering about sorting things out now and again. And DH hoovered the house upstairs and downstairs for me yesterday, it's not perfect but it will pass until I can get it done to my satisfaction. But the main thing is he did it, and I felt brave enough to ask him too.. :yay

I might be making some banana bread tomorrow too as we have an abundance of bananas from my fruit box that are happily turning, so will have to get to the farm for some eggs then can make it. Although I think i better have a shower and get dressed first..lol

Shall fly in the kitchen while sorting out my lunch I think - healthy salad I think :D

Also wanted to say thank you to my Secret Santa for my wonderful gift of a set of owls mug/coaster and little tray :D I absolutely adore it and it shall definately be used regularly. Poor Dave is getting a bit put out now as I have more mugs than him...lol
