Quick q. I know it's early and shops aren't open till later, but has anyone seen the re-usable Christmas bags in any supermarkets?. The grocery bags I mean, sold close to the checkouts, more expensive than the bags for life, I bought some last year in Tesco for £1-ish. This year they don't seem to have any, apart from some hessian ones which at £3 each are too expensive. I've also tried Asda which didn't have any. Unsure if I've just left it too late and they've sold out or they haven't done them this year. I transfer all my presents into these bags per family/household, so I just have my own household presents in my cupboard. I use obviously Christmassy bags to store, otherwise I get people moving them as 'they didn't know what they were' Grrrr

    Thanks

Wilkos have some. Very large bags are £1.30 and medium sized ones are 70p. They are the Sainsbury's style reusable bags.

  • Wow! Wonderful news PK, Wiggle will love being a big brother.

Coming on while I have a minute, as a female I can multitask, so coffee, croissant & iPad at same time.mwhen coffee is finished, 2nd load of washing should be ready t o go in drier, then need to make Christmas Rocky Rd & brownies for class tomorrow. Got their gifts sorted, bought timer, fun erasers & pencils for homework. We are not that great at doing homework so thought I would instil a bit of fun, have written a poem which I need to laminate so will revert to childhood when we rushed to see how much we could do in a set time, think 3 mins blasts will encourage!

Was not in yesterday so got the housework to do, ironing etc, finish wrapping then hopefully can be fairly relaxed about the busy 10 days ahead, hope so anyway.

Was speaking to my mum last night, she's only gone & got shingles:eek:. Was gobsmacked that she got them so soon after me. Sounds as if she has them worse than I did, so feel for her. My brother supposed to be flying home next weekend, he may have to cancel. On the other hand, he is a good lad, so would happily get the house sorted, cleaning etc. whereas my sister would actually ask if there was anything she could do! How 2 out of the 3 of us would just get stuck in never ceases to amaze me, she is not going to change, thankfully my bil is a diamond, we do wonder how he puts up with her:rotfl:

Well, coffee finished, have a good day everyone
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Schools about here also break up for Christmas :xmastree: on Wednesday 21st December and start back on Thursday 5th January.

Wow - ours finish on the 15th (16th is a [STRIKE]Teacher Training[/STRIKE] Christmas shopping day) and start back on the 3rd.

Have only been able to get a few presents this year, due to lack of funds and saving for a holiday next year.
