Yet another Spamner (Barbara Lowing). Reported as spam but I can't understand how 36 people can have 'thanked' the 9 posts that have been made, thankfully not on here.
Def stay with us MUFFINMAN, we'll keep you on the straight and narrow to avoid those last minute panics.
Well done on the hamper MRSRYAN.
FREE you're becoming a bit of a gadabout- have a fabulous time at the weekend!
VULPIX hope the story goes down well so you can stop looking for the story for the radio. Sorry to hear you're now in dear the weather, sending feel better vibes your way.
MURIE the sleepover was lovely thank you although I didn't wake up til half past ten this morning!
Welcome to the thread KNIGHTRIDER.
Don't worry if you can't be here all the time LEMONADEMONEY, we'll still be here when you drop in.
LMG I know what you mean about the wrapping, I love it for the first few but must admit by the end I'm a lot more slapdash. This year I've gone for gift bags and tissue paper.
Rosie Elf has brought my DGD an invite to go and visit Father Christmas in Lapland tomorrow. She was super excited bless her. They were packing this morning then off to Southampton this afternoon and staying in a hotel overnight ready for an early flight in the morning. Can't wait to see the photos!
Been to see GDS (age 4) in his school nativity this afternoon. It was so lovely. It's only a small village school (80 children) but they all signed as well as sang all the songs and the whole thing made me feel very Christmassy. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Thanks for your kind words about the hamper everyone
I made four others like that- one full of sugar free sweets for dad, a pamper hamper with pj's, cosy socks and Body Shop toiletries for my sister, a hamper for my mum with nightie, Body Shop toiletries and jewellery, and one which I just gave to my friend from church which contained Harrods mug, tea and biscuits (she's Irish and loves her tea!) and she was absolutely thrilled by it which was nice. It's something I've never tried before but I will definitely try again as I've had really good feedback!

Morning campers!
Hope all is well with everyone, skim read the last pages (been mental here!).
Apologies for not being around, we have the Xmas party for the kiddies this saturday, so it is abject chaos here. Had the new doors put in, it is so much warmer and quieter, and they look amazing. New floor being finished (sub floor and flooring) tomorrow. Also OHs last day at work today, so thats three weeks with him...eeep!
Still have lots left to buy, today is my last proper shopping day, so hopefully can find something for everyone on the list.
Spine still being a bit of a James, but dealing as best as I can.
Hoping for a shiny thing in a box this christmas...a girl can dream!0 -

Wow GTQ that video is amazing, they must have so much patience. Wonder how long it all takes to be put away again lol.
DOMRAVIOLI welcome back, hope you get all you go out for today.
MRSMONEYPENNY sounds like yesterday was lovely, glad you enjoyed it. I bet you'll still be finding glitter at Easter!
Finally posted off my last Christmas card, collected DH's shipping order from the chemist, been to hospital appointment, updated the Project Santa Paws Facebook page and now caching up on here and having a rest. Need to do a few jobs this afternoon (shopping coming so will need to be put away, banking needs to be brought up to date, pyjamas need to be mended and DH's Kindle Fire needs to have things loaded onto it). Other than that lot it's going to be a chilling day for me today. Happy Tuesday one and all. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -

Sorry, not been around much. Been so busy with The kids Christmas shows, nativity, dance shows, parties etc.
I enjoyed my works night out on Sat. I'm not keen on party nights, but the food and atmosphere was good.
I have a celidh this Saturday with both daughters. Should be a good night.
My kids don't finish til the 23rd and go back the 9th. Me too as I work in a school. I hate finishing that late. I'd love a couple days to do Christmassy stuff. The weekends leading up have been so busy. We then run out of time. I probably put too much pressure on myself to do all the things I want to do. But it's the memories and traditions that the kids will remember. Not the presents. Still loads of films I want to watch with them and more xmas baking. X:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
