    Morning,

Sorry to hear a few of you are ill or losing the xmas mojo. Hope you are back to yourselves soon.

I'm getting excited that xmas so close. But I want to enjoy December a bit longer. It's flying in. I plan to do some baking with the kids this weekend. Maybe try the gingerbread playdough recipe I seen. I hate getting to the last weekend and feel I didn't do enough Christmassy things with the kids.

Want to say thank you to my card swapper ( are we allowed to say who it was? ) and my little surprise. I love the card. My eldest thinks it's the best card she has ever seen lol. Hope you got my card ok? And thank you to Murie for organising it.

It's my works xmas do tomorrow night. Not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not. I'm looking forward to the night out, but I hate party nights. Ive spent so many years working on the other side of them, and seeing people drunk who only seem to get out once a year lol. I plan to watch what Im drinking as I don't want to make a fool of myself.

    Have a good Friday.

    Just a flying visit.

A while ago a couple of you bought light up twig trees. How do you rate them and where were they from. Should've got one at the time for my Mum. looking at her gifts it doesn't look much. She spends so much on us all I would like to get her something extra and she said her old tree is falling to bits.

Fab day in Chester. If you get the chance, visit.

    Morning all
Now I've had confirmation my card has arrived safely I can reveal my reindeer challenge item

I made these crossstitch cards and used the moose one as my exchange card ( moose looks a bit reindeerlike doesn't it lol? )

Knitting my last stocking so will hopefully get those finished today. Very festive today as it's Christmas dinner day at school, because I work during lunchtime I get to stay behind and have a dinner with the other lunchtime staff and it's secret Santa pressie swap day during the meals. Then tonight we have a Christmas meal with friends. I'll end up looking like a Christmas pudding!
Finished first batch of reindeer food yesterday so took that up to school as I'm running out of space here.

Have a lovely morning all and I hope the poorlies and fed up start feeling a bit better/happier/motivated/Christmassy again soon.

Vulpix- have a look on QVC at the Alison Cork range- mine is the 180cm tree and I LOVE it. ( I typed a long reply out giving links and then it wouldn't let me post it for some reason! the tree is expensive but beautiful in my opinion. There are smaller ones too but I don't know about them.

Nic- have a fab time tonight and enjoy your Christmas activities with the kids.

Mrs Moneypenny- have a fab Christmas lunch and meal tonight x

    MRSM your cards are lovely.

VULPIX I have one of the light up trees that I keep out all round. I got mine on Amazon when someone on here posted about the price having dropped to less than £7 delivered! I love mine. This one is like mine. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cherry-Blossom-Operated-Christmas-Perfect/dp/B00ZY0RTSW/ref=pd_sim_201_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=G2SZ7J6DFB16T916XRZF
You can get them battery operated too but for me one that plugs in is better.

MANDCO the Boots advent calendar sounds like it's worth buying - I might get one for DD next year.

Had a lovely lunch yesterday with some of the 'chemo girls' and the diary is looking a bit like it should be MRSINVISIBLE's for the week before Christmas. Usually its really quiet but this year seems full of things to be done and people to be seen. At this rate I'll be spending Christmas asleep! :D

Well, having had a discussion at work on Wednesday about the squatters, I woke up at 4 yesterday morning, having had a nightmare about them, was seriously unimpressed. However, discovered when I got home last night that a trap had tripped,:j, as did the power just now  Had a chat with landlord yesterday and it would appear that I am not the only one with the issue dealing with the problem, they are clearly becoming astute.

I think I am finished shopping, will need to check over the weekend, so although next week is really busy, I can somewhat be chilled about it.

Going to panto tonight, really looking forward to it, plus the fact I need to leave work early as we are all meeting at 5:30 to eat:j

The Coca Cola truck was ok luckily dd just wanted her photo taken with it so we did it while they were setting up before it officially started.

Took her to the Drs today as her "cold" is now 8 weeks old turns out to be Rhinitis and its going to take 3 months of treatment to sort out.

Any knitters out there use the laughing hen site ? There are lots of free patterns available to download.
