  • Thank you Lynne for the encouragement.

Received £10 in paypal account from swagbucks at last......seemed to take forever.

£5.35 to add from todays tips as well so £15.35 in total to add for me today.

Have convinced OH we have holiday savings on track now and am now going to start trying to overpay on the mortgage. It will only be the bits and pieces I manage to earn online but added to the tips....I think I can hopefully pay off minimum of £100 a month.

I am becoming a little obsessed with the extra earning and OH moans I am surgically attached to my laptop sat in front of the telly but I have done it for so long that it now feels alien to sit and watch something without multi tasking and clicking at the same time. Its got to pay off in the long run. :D:D

Me too Kantakarus Mare, it's rare for me to sit and watch tv without something being clicked, searched etc.

Well I posted on the techy thread.

I gleaned what I need to amid the "my shoes are bigger than your shoes" mentality.

I can see why newbies never post or follow up again, if this is what they meet the first time on the forums.

Well done on the earnings again and great to hear your plans to pay off the £100 min each month :T

  That made me laugh as it sounds the same as here. Mind you, DH does watch lots of tv and I am very picky. There is usually one programme a night when lappy goes to sleep and I am on it through all the rest. Even now, the tv is on BBC 24 news - or whatever they call themselves now - as it's easy to glean and survey at the same time :rotfl:

Unfortunately a lot of the threads on MSE are a bit the same. If you don't 'fit' you are not made welcome :( Thank goodness for this one and the other ones I found that are welcoming, positive and supportive :T

However, I have found that the techie thread (some with their heads ...) are helpful. I take the attitude that “Remove the dross from the silver, and a silversmith can produce a vessel”
