feel a little brain tired today.

DH came back after dentist and was told by work not to return, so he spoilt my afternoon of decisive tasks lol.

printer won't print, hate win 10, everytime it does updates, my printer doesnt work.

had another ebay sale but need my printer working!

very tired. cant think what I am supposed to be doing.

I'm on the lemon-based green teas this morning with a sore throat.

EDIT: I should get a t-shirt (tea-shirt?) that says "TALK TO ME ABOUT TEA" on it.
Hope your sore throat soon better.

Have you tried gargling with warm dilute TCP or warm dilute salt-water ??

Love the 't' shirt idea :rotfl:

I had hoped to sort out my child benefit claim for DD2 as I haven't heard anything after posting it in November, along with her birth certificate (would be nice little sum once back paid) but when I finally got through to someone, they were the rudest, most unhelpful individual I've ever encountered.

And apologies for the rant - negativity going back in a box now! :D
You don't need to apologise :D

Hope you soon get it sorted and I'm sure karma will prevail ;)

The news about David Bowie hit me way harder than I could ever have predicted (not that I predicted it at all I mean who really thought he could die?) so I've not really been in the survey-takin' mood
    Snap Lex !!

Couldn't seem to settle to anything once I heard the news. Such an artist and what a loss to the world.

When I updated (at computer's suggestion) to win 10 - My Sambung lazer went down too - so I went on Sambung site and they said it was "too old to be supported - so follow this link to buy another printer " ! Seeing as how I'd just stripped it and put new rubber wheels in it (paper pick ups) and bought two new toners at £15 each (98 at PC Wrrrld) I went looking for others who had the same problem and was told "Download the Win 8 drivers - many have had that work" - So I did and have a perfectly sound printer good for many years of B&W printing at decent speed and quality.

[ wish I had the nerve to go "Linux" ] :o

linux is supposed to be very good. hmmm friend's pc tower needs updating from xp. it is way too slow and she struggles to do anything with it... how would one go about changing to linux? might be good for her.

still looking for the drivers for my printer .... :(

(((((hugs))))) Aesop - I know they won't get the printer working but hope they make you feel better.

TBH - I've resisted win 10 as I have seen so many complaints about it and lack of connectability with other techie stuff. I had the same problems with a printer when I moved from Windows XP (as they stopped the support) and went to win 7. I investigated how to upgrade and it would have cost me more than a new printer

If you're not happy with win 10 you can shift back you know ;)
