Fairyclicks, there is a fab couponing page on Facebook. The lady ia from mse and puts a lot of hard work and research into her page.
Then I also suggest the Topcashback, shopitize thread om mse and printable coupon thread.
You used to be able to compare morri7sons prices against other stores but not sure if that still works. You then buy stuff that would create a voucher.
Also take a look at mysupermarket site. They compare all your shops. If you have a smartphone you need some qpps.
And the bestbthing to do is try to use coupons on reduced items/offers to make the max out of them
Oh fab i knew there would be some good things about - what is the fb group called do you know?
I tried the MSE coupon thing but got confused about printing coupons as it went to another page rather than being able to print something. Will see if i can figure it out when head a bit less cluttered
I only shop in local co-op cos it freaks me out less than the bigger shops :rotfl: so not sure if any apps would work for me but just got receipt hog so i can try that at least!Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Hmmm ! I'm struggling with the calcs atm folks - I've only "cashed" about £40 so far this month - or have I ? I pay for both mobile phone contracts and around July I got them down from £7.70 a month to £7 a month - so that's £1.40 a month I can theoretically claim (I think) - or should I be claiming the difference between our actual costs and the "Cheap" Sim only deals which Martin was talking about last night at £18 each ? (ie £22 saving for the two phones)
Today I spent 4 hours cutting and chopping logs to burn - free wood, great excercise and I spent around £1.00 in consumables (Oil and petrol) but we now have enough logs under cover to see us well into February, plus enough still to process to get us way past Easter. We have not switched the heating on at all this winter and I don't think we shall have it on at all this year. We now only use the gas for hot water - I suppose I ought to claim the saving on the gas bill as "Money earned" but I don't even know what a "normal" heating bill is for January ! £80 sound reasonable ?
Last week I bought a pair of jeans, two pairs of trousers amd 4 good shirts for £7 total, but again "No claim"and yesterday we put a new floor down in the kitchen (Carpet tiles) for less than £6
SO I suppose we're not doing too badly really
.
However, I do need to put a lot more stuff on the market for to make actual money - lol !
More effort required on that front for the next week or so methinks !
Great to see you all doing so well and good to see Batgirl having an input too - impressive result there lady ! :cool:0 -
Nightmare about your phone shellyosborne
i'm guessing no insurance to cover it? Some people have no conscience about stealing stuff like that and it makes me so

Sorry to hear about your phone shellyosborne
Yes me too shelly - we don't use ours for the same stuff you people seem to, so we don't need really up to date ones and the deal we've got now came because some years ago OH had her old donkey of a phone stolen in T3sco and when I went to report it we got her such a great deal I swapped too !
[We got about 260 minutes, 1000 texts and I think 1Gb plus New (old model) Samsungs for £7.70] Whereas I was paying I think £30 a month each for the old ones at the time!
So maybe the loss will be a chance to rethink your needs ?0 -
Been given £20 as a gift from my Mumma, to 'buy some food'...she knows I am debt busting and I have plenty of bulk rice, lentils, chickpeas, beans, pasta etc...so £20 towards DEBT me thinks?
Total to date this month....£171.41/310...:j#4 DFBXMAS24 - £2,322.85/£5,000

Yesterday I finally managed to get 4 surveys done on Prolific and was really chuffed, also downloaded Receipt Hog and uploaded my first receipt on it.
But then in the evening my phone fell out of my pocket at the train station when I was getting my OH, and the screen smashedIt was my Mum's old 4s, which she gave to me after she upgraded, and I'd become really used to using it to advertise my website as well as use apps for money saving, smashing it was seriously gutting. Luckily my sister had her old 4 stashed in a cupboard so I've now got that, but it's only got 5GB of storage space so I've now got to be REALLY strict about what I have on it. I've decided to not put Field Agent or Checkout Smart back on it as neither of them earned me anything, if I have a week off work then I might put Field Agent back on briefly to see if there's anything I can get for the extra cash.
Will also see about putting the broken phone on eBay for spares and repairs.0 -

If it still functions and the only thing is a broken screen you can just list it as 'used'. I just sold my old 4 (was upgrading to a 5) with a broken screen - it's something that only costs £30 to fix. Whacked it up at £35, stressed that it was otherwise fully functional with the photos to prove it, and sold it within a day.
You only need to list it as "spares" if it's non-functional as a device (hard-drive failure, screen does not respond to touch, no audio) really.
I was using mine with a smashed screen for over a year :rotfl:Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100
