If it still functions and the only thing is a broken screen you can just list it as 'used'. I just sold my old 4 (was upgrading to a 5) with a broken screen - it's something that only costs £30 to fix. Whacked it up at £35, stressed that it was otherwise fully functional with the photos to prove it, and sold it within a day.

You only need to list it as "spares" if it's non-functional as a device (hard-drive failure, screen does not respond to touch, no audio) really.

I was using mine with a smashed screen for over a year :rotfl:

Oh that's good to know! I'd have kept using it with a cracked screen but it's really, really shattered, the largest intact piece is the size of the tip of my little finger, tarmac and iPhone screens really do not go well together :(

Had to reregister with ReceiptHog as it didn't seem to want to recognise my email address and kept asking for a password (which I don't remember it asking me to create in the first place), requesting for a password reset didn't send anything to any of my email addresses so I must have typed it in wrong. Just signed back up, with the email address I thought I had used, and uploaded 2 receipts from Friday evening, hopefully that's the end of the problems with it.

Also did another survey on Prolific last night and two of the ones I did the other day are now confirmed, won't add any money to my total until I cash out.

Yes hun, I do do that pay ebay before withdrawing from paypal. I meant as I was on phone and can't check account, I was calculating to add onhere.

Wise words though. Trying to get my friend into habit of doing it instead of withdrawing all from paypalthen waiting for ebay invoice at end of month.

aesop I saw when you sold something one at you said you were going to "work out fees" did you know you can pay your fees anytime you want. Every time I sell on eBay I lay my fees before I withdraw the money from PayPal then I don't get a shocker of a bill at the end of the month. Just go to your user account and do a one off payment.
  • I think swagbucks must have run out of all their paypal vouchers as Im still awaiting a £5 one that I claimed at beginning of month.

Almost ready to claim another fiver.

£6.40 tips to add from yesterday.

    Hiya folks

I'm just passing by, had a quick read and some super results coming in :T

Spent all day yesterday under the duvet, trying to finally shake off this bug and also as DH had footie on - it seemed like forever - it would have led to an upset. Another match coming up, and as tv in same room as 'puter I'm off to the kitchen and I'll be back later.

    Have a good afternoon

HI everyone :) popping in again for my daily dose hehehe! Have managed to keep up with reading so far so doing ok!

Gutted i had to move my savings money into paying account as had 5 massive parcels to book in with courier and didn't have enough in my paying account to cover it - my own fault for using that money for something else :o

Will be able to rejuggle it back in a day or 2 but right now savings account down to under £10

Earning still going well with over £50 earned from first 25 steps in my challenge so far, so should have cash again soon!

Claimed £5 from TV Smiles yesterday and could do claim on clixsense but waiting until i get to $10 on there this time.

Have a plan for some more ebay listings too, but trying to catch up with the rest of my parcels first - bit overwhelmed with trying to sort them all atm so just taking it easy on that for now.

Okay, I'm back again! Today was fairly productive:

Cleaned and vacuumed flat and took rubbish out
Completed surveys at Valued Opinions and OnePoll
    Signed up to Receipthog
Gave feedback to Tesco in exchange for 25 Clubcard Points
Returned unneeded stuff to the tune of £119.69
Put everything back from my supermarket basket when I decided I had food at home for tonight
Applied for a M+S Current Account which will net me £220 if I'm accepted

Phew! Now I'm home with the heating on and about to rummage the cupboards for dinner!! Oh, and keep an eye on my ebay listings. The book I tried to sell hasn't even had one viewing, never mind a watcher so I don't think there'll be a mad rush tonight when the listing ends :rotfl:

Anyone got plans for this evening that are more exciting than mine?
  • Jeeso. I've not made any money this month so far (not that I can think of any way). i've spend the past couple of hours catching on on this thread and it hasn't half motivated me! As soon as I get home I'm taking pictures and listing things online! I will get myself back on target ;)

Keep up the amazing work everyone. You all inspire me every day!
