Wow - I have had such a good day on ebay with 2nd hand shoes that we got for the teenagers but which for one reason or another still looked presentable after they had been finished with. Plus I sold a wood block print (one of 12) I had used up the last of my December free listings on so a good day
Previous Total 169.5
9/1 - £53 ebay after postage and costs
New total £222.50 / £465 - another £10 and I am half way there
That made up for the disappointment of getting an ebay return. Am running low on listings need to do some more tomorrowI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
Some really interesting posts since I last popped in. I love this thread, it never fails to entertain and inform:A
Had an email from Amazon yesterday telling me about a 'pending' book sale. Never had one before but apparently the buyer has attempted to buy it but Amazon are having a problem with the payment method that the buyer has tried to use. Interestingly I sold a book to the same buyer last week (which she has received OK and given feedback about:T) so can't understand what Amazon are having a problem with this time unless the CC or debit card used has since become out-of-date. I hope they get on with it, it's an expensive business book which will bring a nice profit of £32 in a few days.
I keep thinking of your experience though, lexbubbles, when Amazon didn't notify you that you'd sold a book:eek:. Have to keep logging onto my account and checking just in case it's marked for 'dispatch now' and I don't know;).
Meanwhile, received £5 Love2Shop voucher, £2.50 Morrisons voucher and found 20p coin in the carpark. Adding £7.70 for now, hopefully more that's pending will hit my bank early next week:j0 -
Everyone is doing really well. I'm just popping in to add some interest and Natwest Rewards cashback to my total. Have a good day everyone!
(Oh - and adding a 50p Sainsburys Brandmatch coupon on the basis it all helps!)0 -
Congratulations to everyone for all the money made recently:T
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, everyone:beer:0 -
Lynne has gone quiet again. Hope all is ok0

I have a question - when you shop at quite a few shops, the receipt tells you how you can give feedback, which enters you into a prize draw. E.g. Tesco do this. Does anyone ever do these surveys and has anyone ever won? The only one I do is KFC because it gives you 20% off your next purchase (not that I go there often) - wondering if it's worth investing time in doing any others?0

I know a pair of twins who won £10000 each with the boots receipt where you give feedback or was it £1000? Anyhoo they did winI have a question - when you shop at quite a few shops, the receipt tells you how you can give feedback, which enters you into a prize draw. E.g. Tesco do this. I do the Wilko one every time I shop there (at least once a fortnight). I've done it for what seems like years but have never won anything. I always make a point of doing theirs though as the service is always really friendly and super-efficient. I love that company:T. I do the Morrisons one fairly often too but, again, no win, and swipe my card at the Co-op whenever I'm there as they seem to run prize draws for that but I've won zilch from that also:(
Have done other company ones occasionally but have never won anything:(. Have never heard of anyone else who has either.0
