Life has changed since this thread started.......

I started this thread when things were very very desperate.... when my husband saw a Martin Lewis article online and bought the book, we then used the forum and the help and information inspired us. Suddenly finding and making money felt like an exciting new game (almost a hobby) and every single penny we earnt or saved went off the date and we watched our Debt Free date get closer and closer by the minute. This thread inspired me so much there were so many ideas to explore and tips and help........

I think until you are truly truly skint you never understand how to watch your pennies but once you have learnt it you never lose it and will always be careful and make your money stretch.......

Stick with it, it is worth it ..........
Hiya Batgirl - nice to see you. You coming back to the thread ??

I must say I agree with the above and it's a great inspiration and fount of hope to see that it does work, as people like yourself and Fairy Clicks have proven :D

    Morning all.

Bit of an update. No council tax to pay 1st Feb or 1st March so I've transferred £135 to savings for the Feb one (DH is paid weekly and we paid a weekly amount into the bills account so had it ready) so that's a boost!

Another £10 added because DH had loads of petrol in the tank with not working over Xmas so only needed £10 of the petrol money we budgeted for this week. Transferred to savings.

Between Prolific, Pinecone and Edigital I have £32.50 in surveys ready to cash out or nearly so. I'll do that later in the month and add to signature when they are confirmed.

Nice surprise yesterday, a school mum friend turned up at pick-up time with a back full of Wii games (I'd seen her over Xmas and told her we've got the boys a Wii for Xmas - best bargain yet as it happens, it was £40 all in) as her boys didn't want/need them anymore. She's refused to take anything for them but I'll get her some flowers to say thanks. People can be lovely.

Have a grand Saturday everyone x

Didn't get listings done as applied for that job and cleaned bathroom instead.

    Really must pull out finger.

DH bought a replacement iphone yesterday and it is yellow which he hates but only £120. He saw one on monday £170 unlocked white but it was sold when i rang up. Stupid me. I forgot to go through cashback yesterday as he is on a locked phone to 02 so i signed him upto 02 sim only plan which he is happy with. But should have checked tcb first.

Got an ebay query have no idea about lol
