    Morning turtles
Another NSD yesterday which takes me to 15 I think. Today should be a NSD as well as I'm not planning to leave the flat until its time to go to work.

mothernerd great about your debt free confirmation :)

    Hello.

Sorry for the lack of posting, work has been a complete nightmare and I have had a bit of a meltdown.
Currently trying to figure out my finances and whether I can drop a shift or move jobs (well, careers actually). It's not looking likely.

Anyways... have no idea on spend-free days at all.
    :undecided

Can't actually think on anything to write just now. Hope everyone is doing okay.
    Hugs to you all.

Stewby life's too short to stress out about work. Hope you can rise above it.:)

Well said bye to daughter last night, bit emotional to say the least. Envy her in some ways such a vast world out there to explore.

Today will be a SFD I really can manage with whatever I have in next few days. Looking at pics from me last night I seriously need to shift some flab, probably made worse being sandwiched between 2 size 8 daughters.

Today cancelled my Sky Box sets so easy to do now - can do it online so that will save me 8.00 a month. Still got them for the next month and hopefully weather will get better soon, get out more and get active.:T

Not going to make any PAD today as bank account not looking great and mortgage due at weekend.

Mothernerd - triangling carrier bags for real? Hope move goes well.:)

    SFD 17/21 :T

Out of here before Bob gets the big stick out:D

Thanks Dolly I don't think it has sunk in yet she is actually going, as planning gone on for so long for this trip. Just hoping that she comes back bit sooner than planned or I will have to visit when DF of course.

    I'm gutted!!!:(
I've been to the shops, and feel sad!:(
I was on track with only spending...apart from regular bills....ive only shopped on one occasion. I've even not been buying food, making do with what I have or my wombled food stash. :A
However today, I wanted to leave my friend with a nice chicken casserole. I needed carrots and parsnips. The rest of the ingredients including a beautiful chicken stock I made earlier, I already had. Anyway, I've popped into the Co-op and got her a few items that were on offer as well!
    So, that is my confession!:A

EE - I suffer from IBS and bloating if I eat white bread, I can eat gluten but just have to avoid the bleached white bread and stick to wholemeal, maybe your DH could try that first as a cheaper option to GF.

    .

    Thanks dolly

It's not too much hardship as I don't eat gluten so there is always GF bread in the house.

DH says it is really helping even though today is only the 4th day - he is not as bloated as he usually is.

He did have gravy on Sunday which contained wheat but he felt ok so maybe it is just the processed white bread....will get some wholemeal on the next shop.
  • Didn't get on last night - had a meal out with friend and got home late-ish and just got into bed.

So yesterday was obviously a spend day - I got some butter and GF bread while it was a spend day.

Today has been a NSD - it was nearly a spend day as my kitten needs to go to the vet and an appointment was booked but DH was late collecting me from work and we wouldn't have made it in time so changed to tomorrow, so tomorrow will be a spend day.

So up to 14 NSD's - no where near the target but better than the 1 or 2 NSD's I usually have a month!!
  • Evening all :D
Normal service has almost resumed here thank goodness. I hate being a miserable so-and-so. Still utterly skint, counting desperately down to payday but feeling ok that I've budgeted for next month and planned a big shop etc.
Chalked up another nsd today - still cba with much round the house but I have started pulling myself together a bit at work. Stewby - sorry to hear that you're struggling with work. It's a tough time of year anyway - hope it sorts out for you soon.
And mothernerd - massive congratulations on your df status.
Funbrum - don't beat yourself up over a little bit of shopping.

Today I am grateful for getting out for a run (in my lycra - eek! - but it was dark - phew!), for getting home in time to take dd to brownies, for my meeting after work being fairly brief, for dd having a good day at school, for not spending a bean.
