    Hello all,

I'm struggling today as full of cold, runny nose & can't stop sneezing. :(

    My  & :A's today
 Less then 5000 steps walked
    :A Healthy lunch
    :A Hair washed and styled

Kids go back to school on Tuesday so will be back on it properly then.

Fuzzy, are you feeling any better
  • Baby steps for today:

Nice top and boots on with work pants instead of tshirt and trainers

Clear mascara on brows and lashes, lip gloss on

  • Welcome lau_dicker :)

Now what is a zombie run? I'd look like a zombie right now if I tried to run!

Lego mum sorry you aren't feeling well, I finally feel more normal today so will be able to get on with things. As well as look after myself I also have to keep my flat neat and clean so will have a good clean today before going back to work tomorrow.

HBS can I ask a very ungirly question? What does clear mascara do? Do they still look longer?
£15900 loan (including interest) over 3.5 years to pay off...can I do it sooner???
    £940/£15900

    Weight loss 0/28 lbs
  • A little longer and thicker, and more defined :) I like it as I have a terrible habit of rubbing my eyes by mid-afternoon (contacts...).

Zombies, Run! is an exercise app for your phone. You walk/run while listening to the story and occasionally zombies chase you :) I'm a veteran of it haha!

  • Did my first zombie run at lunch time, got back to work looking like a drowned rat! And I got caught by the zombies twice! 4km in 30 minutes so not horrendous :)
  • I know I already posted but I would love to contribute to this thread. Whilst I am not overweight (9 stone 9lb/ 5"8), I have been before when I was a teenager. ( can't remember what I weighed but at the age of 14 I was a size 16 compared to a size 8 in adulthood.). So although I have no intention of losing weight or dropping dress sizes I would like to be motivated to keep healthy as I vowed that once I lost my weight as a youngster that I would never go back to that size and to be honest at this time of year (Jan is my most stressful of busy time of the year). I find it difficult to say no to that glass of wine/piece of choc or to make the effort to cook instead of getting a takeaway!!!

I am interested in makeup ( but I like it when it enhances what you have rather than being totally fake) and love hearing other people's tips and advice. My worst nightmare would be to look like an Oompa Loompa!!!

I also love clothes and find it fascinating how one outfit can look great on one person and horrendous on another!

Ahh thanks hbs, I vaguely remember hearing about this before, sounds great! Well done lau :). I need some motivation to get back to enjoying running and not seeing it as a chore, I might just try this :).

Ladymarmalade well done on keeping your weight down, maintenance is by far the hardest part for me. I lost weight years ago and had to work really hard to keep it off. Its crept back on over the last couple of years :(.

You've done good! Mars bars only have around 250 calories, theyre not as terrible as we imagine (well calorie wise anyway;)).

So I think I'll try some clear mascara thanks to hbs, I'll just get a cheapy one to see how it goes. Today I have eaten well food wise and burned calories cleaning the house and dancing around to my music. Hope no-one looked in through the window :p

I've been good food wise these past few days. No booze since 31/12 (I drank every day at my old job!!!) and fairly decent food.

    Yesterday:

B: Piece of HM brown bread, toasted, with marmite and two dates

L: Falafels, hummus, salad, pickled cabbage, a banana

D: Lentil and root vegetable stew, 1/2 piece cheese on toast and a small slice panettone.

I'm also trying to get back into running. Got my running stuff on and determined to do 6k today. I used to run 10 miles before breakfast and now I'm struggling round the park...horrendous!
