Thanks, I do enjoy the gym actually (I'm surprising myself typing that tbh!) I used to go to a different gym but my heart wasn't in it really. My dad recommended his gym and finally I agreed to go with him and do a class, and I've done 5 classes a week with him most weeks since. I hate new situations but as I was with him it made it far easier.
I wear my fitbit all the time (even sleep in it as it monitors my sleep too) I've found it a really useful tool, I would highly recommend.
Hope you have a good run tomorrow, I used to run but can't as it kills my knees being so heavy.
Sounds like you have found something that works for you, lovely that you go with your Dad. I'm going to have a look at the fitbit too, may wait until the end of Jan just incase money becomes too tight (like my jeans) between now and then.£15900 loan (including interest) over 3.5 years to pay off...can I do it sooner???

I have a Misfit Flash instead of a Fitbit, it's cheap and cheerful (£20 from Amazon) but it does occasionally malfunction and lose a day's data
Ran a 5k on Boxing Day - would rather run another than be back at work *sigh*
Off to have eyebrows threaded later. I look like a couple of caterpillars took up residence on my bonce.
Baby steps to start 2016 -
Cut down on McD's breakfasts. I LOVE them, but my waist doesn't!
Make soup for lunch. My spicy tomato and red pepper one is delicious, I have just been too lazy to make it.
Make sure nails are always neatly shaped with at least a clear polish.
Wear a little bit of makeup every day

Well done on the run! I had a cheap activity monitor too but it was very basic and didn't do much.
The baby steps sound good,:eek:to McDs for brekkie everyday! I love a chicken burger meal but think their breakfasts are awful. Hope you find something else you like as much x£15900 loan (including interest) over 3.5 years to pay off...can I do it sooner???

Haha I'm the opposite - I HATE their normal food!
Have bought a "nude" nail polish for everyday use. Let's see how that goes...

Hi
I went for my run!!!!!! I put it off and put it off then was looking at money stuff so went for the run to de stress. The run was easy as I was too busy worrying about money! I say easy, its still uncomfortable running with all this extra fat. Oops
Otherwise a good day food wise so far, no bad stuff eaten. Have turned down a few New Years Eve offers as they're all going to involve food and lots of drink, will just go to bed and hopefully wake up not feeling like a toilet.
Legomum - chinese buffet is one of my weaknesses, I love them and could go for extra helpings all afternoon!!! I only go about once a year now because of this and its a real treat£15900 loan (including interest) over 3.5 years to pay off...can I do it sooner???

Managed all healthy food today :j
Brisk walk to work and back (managed over 15,000 steps) and let me tell you that isn't easy in December in a seaside town on the west coast of Scotland
Housework done, bag packed and healthy lunch packed for tomorrow.
Also managed not to bite my nails all day at work :rotfl:0 -
Baby step for today - I have BB cream on face and clear mascara on lashes and brows. Took all of 60 seconds so should be easy to keep up!
Feeling so much better now my eyebrows are sorted too - managed to squidge in at the threader just before they closed
