  • I'm ducking out of this thread for a while as I am having a massive crisis of confidence about the fact I'm really fat and getting old.

Good luck everyone - I'll try and come back sometime soon.

Ahhh HBS dont feel like that! I am nothing like Spinkz (older and definitely fatter). It's good to hear from people in different circumstances though! Last year I felt awful but the difference a few little differences I have made this year so far is amazing. I still have a looooong way to go but feel better for taking the steps to improve. x

HS, Do not feel bad, we are all doing our best to lose weight and get healthy, regardless of weight and age.

  • Don't give up HBS :) We all have to start somewhere! Just keep imagining the feeling you get after a really good Zombies, Run! I started my weight loss journey in September 2014 and have only just found the motivation to actually stick to it 16 months later! Had a few problems along the way though, PND and a suspected heart problem ... what did it for me was signing up for Tough Mudder again ... last time I did it, I was the slowest on our team by far, this year there are loads of new people doing it and I really don't want to be the slowest again! That and a holiday to Florida booked for May!

We know you can do it! :j
  • Hi Everyone :)

Still here, still eating well :) I've managed to get my hair done and love it and had a few beauty treatments too.

Not quite a stunner but am feeling better than I did a month ago.

I tried out a spinning class last night at the gym and that seriously cains the calories  i was knackered by the end of it! I've already pulled my body fat percentage down to 16% and my dance partner has recovered so i will have regular exercise again. I still think dance is the best way to keep in great shape and its more fun than the gym :D

Has any of you ever considered joining a dance class?

My co-ordination is awful but it is a time for trying new things so maybe I will :)

Things are still good, haven't updated much as work has been very busy and quite stressful. I love it most of the time but theres times when it seems so overwhelming that I just want to build a fort and hide!

I've lost a stone so far this year :eek:. :j:j:j. I'm over the moon, next step is to join the gym and get into a better shape. I have a very determined gym buddy waiting for me so it's looking good :).

My skin has all broken out which does happen when I'm stressed no matter what cleanser I'm using or how much water I've been drinking.

Getting nails done tomorrow then spending the weekend in a caravan for my friends birthday :rotfl::money::money::money:
