Do you have a personal trainer at the gym?
I did used to have a PT at the old gym and it was great for getting me started but my trainer had health problems himself and kept having to rearrange bookings etc which didn't work for me as I needed structure otherwise I couldn't keep my head straight. When I joined the same gym as my dad he got me into doing a synergy circuits class which was on Monday to Friday at 9.30 which means I get the kids to school and just go and do it without thinking, rather then a will I-won't I go? So its not always the same instructor/trainer each day which is great as they all have their own style etc although this lady who took us yesterday is so softly spoken and happy and smiley but when taking a class I discovered that she is really very loud, shouty and bossy!! lol My legs ache so much today!
M&M your breakfast made me chuckle!
Savingfortomorrow, Good luck!

Happy New Year everyone!
I'd like to join in if I can? I really relate to this thread as I'm under 5 feet tall and nine stone. It really doesn't look good on someone with my tiny frame. I'm 36 and finding myself out of breath on the stairs! I also have a lot of nice clothes that don't fit. I don't want to replace them because that's giving up and wasting money that could be spent on a house deposit.
I have had health problems and been lazy so I've completely stopped exercising. I need to get back into this and have booked a weekly dance class as a start. I've also downloaded the couch to 5k app. I need to get back into the gym too but I'll start with these and cutting back on eating junk instead of proper meals....
It's really nice to have you lot to go on this journey with and I'll be reading with interest.Mortgage overpayments 2018: £4602, 2019: £7870

Hi sofarbehind
another shorty
I still have this lurgy but feeling a bit better today. It certainly helped kickstart the diet...
Today I have some perfume on, no make up though. I put a lovely facemask on earlier so going to let my skin breathe. Regarding skincare I am fine in the morning...cleanse, tone, serum, moisturise but not so good at night. Sometimes just use a wipe of my face, must make more of an effort!£15900 loan (including interest) over 3.5 years to pay off...can I do it sooner???

I love how the serum and moisturiser makes my face feel nice and soft. Need to start using stuff for wrinkles etc tho
. I have such a tired looking face.
Feeling the same as yesterday, bit weak as not been able to eat much. Doesn't feel like a Sunday does it?£15900 loan (including interest) over 3.5 years to pay off...can I do it sooner???

I made it to the gym today! Let's see if I manage more than once in 2016.. God I am very unfit.Mortgage overpayments 2018: £4602, 2019: £7870

Can I join you all please?
I'm 52, 5ft and currently weigh 9st9, I have stick thin arms and legs so look like a little barrel with twigs sticking out 😀
I aim to get back into exercise over the next few weeks. I have plantar fasciitis and it's sometimes so painful to walk, I do know that loosing weight will help this considerably as last year I completed the couch to 5k and was pain free while I was running, bad weather got in the way of me running and I used this as an excuse to eat rubbish, bad I know but it can all be undone.
Like some others on here i too have a wardrobe full of nice clothes, which don't fit. They're all 10/12. I really should be wearing size 14's in my current weight but I look so silly in a size 14 especially around the legs, trousers and jeans especially.
I also aim to keep my nails in better condition, they grow quite fast and are really strong, but I let them get too long then end up catching one on something at work and end up with 9 long nails and 1 far too short and looking silly so I'm going to keep them at a reasonable length, with a clear nail varnish on unless I'm having a rare night out and I might put some colour on.
I currently wear tinted moisturiser during the day, and foundation, blusher ,powder and mascara for going out.
Phew that's quite long winded.
Happy new year everyone!0 -
Hello, can I join you all please? I'm 31, 67kg (about 10 and a half stone), 5' 4. Used to be about 8 and a half stone before I had the little one (nearly 4 years ago!) and just wanting to lose a dress size and get a bit fitter
I've started with my fitness pal today again, worked well last time, and I've got a 'moov now' tracker, like a fitbit but waterproof as I do a fair bit of swimming. No heart rate tracker on it though as I have an unusually high resting heart rate that goes through the roof just walking around so no point!
I'm going on my first 'zombies, run' tomorrow, really looking forward to that. Really need to be able to run as I've signed up for Tough Mudder in August! I did it 3 years ago and it was amazing! And I'm also doing 5km in the swimathon in march.
I keep losing a bit and feeling great, then losing the willpower a bit, so I hope a little diary on here with you guys will keep me motivatedI like crisps and pastry too much! But I have a bsc and MSc in nutrition so should know better!
Looking forward to discovering the 'stunner' underneath with you all! X0
