Were you staying there? I take it you can just use this and get pool access too?

No I wasn't staying there, if you purchase the cabana rental..think it was 35000 lps , that's all you need for the day, i rang them a few days in advance and reserved the cabana but there were a couple empty all day.

I think the cabana should cost $50 for the day, you do get the option of an upgrade when you get there for $25 which adds on some hot food and a bucket of beer from memory, we didn't do that

The pool is small but for us it was perfect as no way can I lay in the sun when it's 100 plus, so I stayed inside and wife layed outside

An outside chance we might make a Vegas trip next Easter... thinking of flying to Washington for 3 nights, then internal to Vegas for 6 nights and back to London. Flights with Virgin actually look decent at the moment, £620pp for direct return flights... internal flights are about £180pp.[/

If you are prepared to wait a few months you should get cheaper internal flights. Southwest currently selling through to Jan. Most weekdays $149.

Edit: just realised you said return flights so probably you meant Washington - Vegas rtn, in which case £180 looks decent.

Thanks for the info... it would be just a single from WAS to LAS :)

When we go to Vegas in September our daughter is coming with us.
So as a surprise I have booked flights to Anaheim flying into Sna,so we can visit Disneyland....we have done this in the past when we have been in Vegas, but not for quite a while.
Anyway,I booked the flights with southwest a bit back for $89 each way.

They have been bombarding me with emails for the last couple of day about fares starting at $49.So I done something I never do after booking flights, and paying....I clicked the link just to see how much the price was for the flights we have booked....they are $49 each:mad:

That's $240 less....not much over half the price we paid...I wish I had never looked now,as I feel sick :(

Southwest allow to to take the difference as a credit. Did it not have a way to do that? I'm not sure how it works but I know people who have done it.

Just looked into getting a credit for the difference.

If you go into your southwest account, and click change flights, you can re-do the same flights and times at the lower price.
It then gives a credit for each passenger....so there is $79.99 on each of our names in credit.

Trouble is,I took a screenshot to make sure I had proof of the change, but when I go back into my account and click on the upcoming flights,it shows the Anaheim flight, but clicking into it says there is no flight.
I hope that is because I have changed the "original" booking to a new booking.Slightly worried now,as I don't know where the amended booking is.....maybe it just takes a bit of time to show up....I bloody well hope that's the case.

To be honest it probably was a waste of time doing it,as the credit runs out in April next year, and after Septembers trip,it will be very unlikely that we will be back by next April.

I hope it works for you Brats. I'll ask around to find out if there is any way to extend the credit.

Thanks pebbles....had to ring southwest in the end,as we received no email confirmation of the change, and the reservation didn't show in account settings.
After being on hold for quite a while,a women said it hadn't completed correctly for some reason. She tried a few times to correct it at her end,and finally it shows on the account settings, and received an email.
Don't think we are getting to Vegas next year....it's our 25th wedding anniversary and my wife really wants to do New York and maybe a few days somewhere else on the eastern side. That would be around June,so if we were to book an internal flight by April for June it might work out ok.
