Four hours a week seems very do-able as you mentioned you do have family support so your partner could have someone with her whilst you are working.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
yes - I think four hours a week is do-able. the grandparents would probably jump at the chance to 'childmind' - I know I do!
it seems SS have climbed down a bit - and hopefully the new SW will be helpful and supportive!
good luck and do have a good Christmas!0 -
The rules changed in April this year, and fathers are now entitled to shared parental leave. My understanding is that you should be entitled to 50 weeks in the first year of your child's life. Go onto the Benefits Forum - there will be people there who can verify this - or confirm that you are correct. It is worth exploring - not all employers seem to understand that it is not just 2 weeks parental leave any more.
The mother must have been entitled to maternity leave for the father to be entitled to shared parental leave.0 -

All professionals have spoke of us in a good light, but historic events & my partners Learning difficulties have dictated that we need a CPP
If this was an Initial Child Protection Conference then Review must be within 13 weeks, so not 6 months. Duty SW are used to passing on cases at this point so I would be surprised if one asked to keep the case.
Are you in PLO - pre proceedings process?
Have you had a parenting assessment? or is this the purpose of the residential placement?
Just to be clear........
Sw's do not get commission for removing children of any age from their family's...Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0
