post previous to yours was a link to pepipoo website where the topic is being discussed (as well) someone has uploaded a photo , so its all clear now .
PEs boses (crapita) must be feeling the pinch after all the cases that were stayed , and still not sorted , so are going for plan B: on the rest.
with the level of daily claims they make , see http://www.bmpa.eu/court.html on any random day , they are not frightened of bringing cases , so why? why? are they not attempting court with the OPs and yours ? , do they have a valid claim , land owners rights or have they failed at the timings of POFa ,
as they say on "QI"

maybe , some of the regulars can check this out , I will amend if wrong
lets get a second opinion , but if PE take you to court , they can only go for the mystical £85 , plus the "fragerant young ladies" signature , and is it £25 in court fees? I don't think they can claim for Equita (can they?)
so £85 +£50 + £25 = £160 , which is less than they are asking here
plus you are going to cost them about £300 to hire there solicitor
so by not paying its a win win situation that you are in , and a loose loose situation for them
lurking around on the pranksters website is a comment on the £50 costs

I think the claims (multiple seen today) are a last ditch effort , and IF they could have produced the evidence they would have had you in court a long time ago , they are playing the inflated numbers game , I expect closly to be followed by the "special offer" price
PE used to brag (on there website) at all the people they took to court , but don,t bother updating now https://www.parkingeye.co.uk/motorist-information/parkingeye-win-over-90-of-county-court-hearings/
do you (after all this time) have a paper trail of events?
something is holding them back from just starting a court case , and this method (eqita) is just a bluff I feelSave a Rachael

I too received the same letter today asking for £185 from Equita. The PCN it's on about was from 2013, because it's for a car I don't own any more, although of course they include no real information about the PCN itself. Is the consensus to wait this one out, see if any more letters arrive and just ignore it?0

I've also had a letter like this today. I've never received any notices from Parking a Eye. What shall I do?0
