Equita seem to do a lot of bailiff work , are there/is there anything you believe written on the letter to make you think they are acting as bailiffs?

'ParkingEye have written to you recently about the above referenced parking charge. As payment has not been received, the matter has now been passed to Equita Ltd with instructions to recover the outstanding sum of £185 in full'.

Check Noodle to see if you have a default CCJ. Then post up the pics.

@OP - could to photo/scan a copy of the Equita letter (front and back if appropriate), host it on Photobucket or Tinypic, redact any personal detail and copy link here - change it to a dead link by changing http to hxxp and regulars will convert.

I'll ask one of my older kids to do it when they get in, I'm not that tech savvy lol

umm , so the same company as PE raising the price to £185 , the JPG above shows they are both owned by crapita ,

the DVLA set the max rate at £100 (apart from exceptional situations) and a judge ruled £85 was OK , seems that PE are desk pushing and doing a Miah

  • A couple of years ago we had two PCN's from Parking Eye and we ignored them as that was the advice then, I wonder if this is them trying to enforce them now?

as you are a seasoned MSE user and have rights to post links (unlike the OP) , would you like to scan/photo the letter (after removing your details) and host it on tinipics etc , a second photo showing the company name at the bottom would also help
