Well, did quite a bit of ironing. DH's work shirts, all my white blouses and some colored stuff.
A few more bits to do but they are still in the dryer.
Prepared the tea. roast tatties in oven (got the idea here.. YUMMM)
Green beens, and grilled chicken breast should do it.
Had a friend over for a coffee and a chat.
Meanwhile i'm mentally preparing for the big detox tomorrow..
Am scared stiff, but oh well..
nicky your girl looks SO cute!!
I love that tooth falling out look.

Forgive me Flaylady, for I have sinned.
It has been 3 weeks since my last confession.
I shall start again tomorrow as I miss the company!

right.. been.. washed the sink while I was in there
.... Gosh I am so sad!! lol
Anyway.. shirts all ironed and put away..
Jb's pinafore cut out and ready to sew.. I don't have enough fabric for 2 so she is having a pair of trousers as well which she is really happy about.. she just sat and watched me cutting it out because she is so pleased.. she said noone elses mummy will make their clothes so she will be the prettiest!!!! (if she went in sack cloth she would still be the prettiest!)
I have got the front room almost vacuumable.. just a few more bits to shirt which I'll sort when I've cut out these trousers..
I've left this sewing until the last possible minute and it isn't taking long to run it all up.. I'm just so lazy I should have had this done weeks ago!!
Oh and my sister has been taken into hospital with seizures and a rash so we have more drama!! So I've had to 'find' my mother and get her there when everyones phones are off and noone is answering.. I get all the fabby jobs.. at least they know I'll do something if they ring me so I guess it isn't all bad!
now.. I'll demand tea and make a start on the trousers for Jb!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Good afternoon everyone,
Wow - what a great set of photos people have been posting!
Pigpen - I hope your arm isn't too bad and you are resisting the urge to scratch. I know - chain-drink tea and hold the mug in your non-itcy arm, that way you won't be able to scratch!!
Becca - good luck with giving up smoking.
Well I've washed and ironed stuff today and prepared a roast dinner. The idea is that the chicken can cook whilst we're out at the gym in an hour or so - yum yum!
I'm beginning to get distinctly nervous about my first full day as a student tomorrow - gulp!
If I don't get a chance to drop back later this evening I hope everyone has a good evening - and good luck / best wishes to all those who are involved in the back to school frenzy of next week.

LOL! Cheers Pigpen!
He did actually help out quite a bit, BUT, he demands you get up and help him 'get this place sorted' right when you are having a tired spell. And he gets stroppy about it too... so all in all, you feel bullied into doing stuff AND its not the way you usually do it because his way is better or so he thinks....
So, much as I love him, and love the 10 black bags full of junk that went to the dump... I love him at work too.
In a good place to get started for next week though, a lot of the stuff I just couldn't get done has been done, so it should go well.
Plus, sodapop is now at nursery 2 afternoons a week and settling in great so hip-hip-hooray! I shall NOT be lifting a finger except to drink coffee and eat grapes during the hour and a half I have to myself though, Doctors orders!0 -
Must stay away from argos clearance....0
