yes I tried ebid but nothing ever seems to sell on there.. ebay just seems to reach more people and their fees worked out cheaper last I checked.. ages and ages ago. I've never bought anything from ebid either.
I am certain the stuff in here breeds!!!! There always seems to be so much to get rid of it is unbelievable.. I can't understand how we ended up with it all!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

just got off fone to tax credits as had to tell them that from tomorrow dd is going to nursery more hours. apparently i will get an extra £22 a week! yay! especially as when i reworked my budget at beginning of july i had budgeted for the new nursery fees without including any increase from tax credits:D so an extra £88 a month into the savings pot:D
am boiling up some stock today as a base for soup this week, delish! i think i am now psyched up for kids return to school this week and am finally getting on top of things:)
i am starting a new challenge for myself for september. i dont intend to buy anything i dont totally need for the rest of the year, i have decided i have too much stuff. one night when i was away camping, all the kids were asleep and i layed there thinking i have my library book, my ipod for all the music i download, and my portable dvd player so i can play the films from lovefilm. i really dont need anything else, yet...at home i have a room full of stuff, in fact a house full of stuff, when the kids and i managed to live for a few days with very little, just a few personal things, bedding and cooking equipment and were perfectly happy, in fact i had less of a headache because of all the clutter.
therefore i am going to try not to accumalate anything else for the next few months and sell a lot of things i dont really NEED!November NSD's - 70 -

Morning all,
Just stopped for a quick cuppa and to turn my back on the kitchen of doom.
I've bitten the bullet and started stripping properly instead of half hearted tearing off strips each time I'm in there. Moved the cooker away from the wall to get behind it..grim.. I kind of wish I hadn't started but I'm holding my vision in my head for when it's all finished. Really wish someone else was doing it though!
Becca, well done on making the decision to stop. I'm having a go in my own way and have cut down quite a lot but I'm at a sticking point. Are you just going cold turkey? Let's know how you get on!
Vanilla, you've a lot to deal with at the mo, take it easy and look after yourself too.
Pigpen, lovely pics;your girls are going to be heartbreakers!
Tinsel, I get that feeling every September, like there's a change in the air.
I can't imagine I'll get much else done today and probably won't be doing the kitchen list tomorrow but I'll at least clean the floor behind the cooker.
Catch you all later, have fun doing what you're doing.
Edit to say Kazmeister, bonny kids you have too (missed your post 'cos I take so long to type!). Coming to the conclusion we're a bunch of goodlookers on this thread! One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

.
Yep, quitting cold turkey. Tried it every other way a few too many times before, and it never gets any easier. Cutting down doesn't work for me. I then spend all day waiting for when I can have my next smoke!
And whether i use patches or not.. I still have to battle the withdrawel sooner or later. So might as well do it all at once.
I found a great support group on Internet, where i can go to complain, or for advice and support, so I'm in high hopes this time.
