I am terrible at birthdays at the best of time so spologies for lateness!

tinselfairy - yeah my hubby is the same, things I am bonkers posting on here so much, just doesnt get it at all. He says "you do an awful lot of typing on your PC, do you spent all your time on forums or what". Er, yes, actually LOL

AnW's Mum - so do you tow the caravan there etc and hook it up yourself ? if so then wow thats pretty amazing on your own, well done

7ww thats great news about your allowance, you must be chuffed to bits :T

rach - what a fab thing to do with "loose change" - and how exciting to be wedding planning. When's the big day ? Ohyeah I see in your sig, so it must be about late Feb next year then ? Your SAfrica trip sounds amazing too. I also have tons of stuff for a car boot but def cant be bothered. Maybe next summer when it gets warm again.

jjef - pumpkin will look huge but you will be horrified at how much iof it is seeds when you open it up. I love tghe taste of pumpkin but always think it is a stupid waste of time/space/energy vegetable as the is so little substance to it.

pigpen and shell - yep mine do the same, I only have toi lift the phone off the hook and they come in moaning so I cant even hear the damn thing ring at the other end let alone hear a person. The other week I was in a queue for BT for ages and had just screeched "JUST GET TO YOUR ROOMS NOW!!!!!" as a girl answered. Surprised she still has eardrums .....

pigpen - not neurotic at all - have you got a CO detector ? In our old house we got one of the ones that is a bit of card that goes black if theres a leak and we woke uop one day (thankfully) and it wasw BLACK - what a panic. BGas came out and condemned boiler !!!! But at least we werent dead.

Right I am up to 5pm on the daily posts, will just post this one before it gets lost.....

I struggle enough buying the childrens uniforms, bags, stationery and goodness knows what else I can't afford frivolities for me!! I'd get the notebook though.. I have my life (diary) which I couldn't live without.. then I have a spiral bound notebook which is full of lists and prices and 'thoughts' and other drivel.. I couldn't survive without either!

Just had an idea - could I add photos of Martin Shaw/George Clooney/Mark Owen/Duncan James etc etc into my school notebook to see me through the day?????

kazmeister - lucky you! Enjoy rest of your hol

HopeElizzy (((hugs))) sorry to hear about the los of your friend

nicki I too am in a house of HUGE spiders <shudder> I hate them and am afraid to say I just erm squish em or hoover them up. I have been very careful not to react about them in front of the children, yet they both have a dreadful fear of them as well. Poor DS ran into our bedroom screaming this morning as he'd come across a gigantic one in the hall on his way out of the bathroom, he was shaking like a leaf poor wee boy. So it went down the loo I'm afraid. And another met with its maker in our bedroom tonight. They are getting brave, they never used to come upstairs. We use conkers to keep them at bay, apparently they dont like chestnut oil, but ours are a bit dried out so we need to conker picking in the next few weeks !!

Ginger girl - ooooo I a loving that Holiday Grand Plan thing , I am going to do that !!!! Fancy printing off Christmas card lists iin August
My husband will think I have finally gone over the edge LOL

I've yelled in several peoples ears when they answer the phone.. nd I'm not a quiet person!!! I've also being caught talking to (and swearing at!) the electronic lady who says how important the call is.. :o

I just don't use the boiler when DS1 is in his room.. it is only used during the day unless he has ben exceptionally vile then I have the heating on full and run hot water lol (joking.. honest!!) I daren't buy one of the CO detectors.. I have been tempted to get one but we've not had the money to replace the boiler and can only do it now becauswe various places are offering 6 months interest free... during which time I'd save the money to pay them in one go
