Evening flyladies. Seems a lot of people have troubles and snuffles at the moment so hugs etc where needed.

And I love the fact that LW has added to Nicki's list. Haha.

I've been MIA as I've been ill, off the paid stuff, and sleeping so no flying has been done for a few days. But tonight I've started to feel better, so I've wrapped some of the Christmas presents.

And tomorrow I have help coming round (DD and her boyfriend) to assist with dog walking and cleaning the LR and putting the tree up. I rarely ask for help but boy do I need it this week.

Have a great evening everyone. I will try to pop in tomorrow.
Spend less now, work less later.

Just quickly popping on to let you know that J and I had 'the talk' at lunch. I had decided just what I was saying and not dithering which I know I would have done had I not written it down in the letter beforehand. I told him he needs to relinquish his intense control over me, let me make decisions and not have to wait for him to make up his mind/have the last say, let me help him sort out his stuff and turn this house into a home. I then said please don't underestimate what I've said; I am very serious and if things don't turn around I would take things further but I absolutely do not want that. He asked what I meant by that and if he meant me throwing him out - I said yes. I felt awful and my legs were shaking but at least I've been 100% honest, even saying I'm better when he's not here but go downhill on the weekends and I think we both agree things could be a lot better.

Apart from that I've done a bit of flying but obviously been rather preoccupied.

Have a lovely weekend everyone x

  • Well done Mumof2. Hope you get the result you want.

Hope all the poorlies are feeling better.

Dentist was fine, no work needed ( nothing short of miraculous ) so I am back in 6 months.

From the dentist I went to meet DD1, who showed me round the warehouse she now runs. Then back through town, a bit of shopping and then home.

Couldn't shut the freezer door at teatime, suspect someone has left it ajar! So DH had to defrost it. Not really what we wanted at teatime. All done now and suspect stuff thrown. Well it needed doing...

Am completely worn out tonight. My sleep has been erratic recently, I suspect it is catching up with me. I reckon bed is calling now.. it's not too early is it?

Just sorting through some stuff and it occurs to me I've not written my flylady Christmas cards out yet, have I missed the email/pm or am I being too organised. Hoping to get down the movie tomorrow with some other Christmas post. Sorry if it's already been mentioned and I've missed it, I'm not used to full time paid stuff.

Hope all are as well as can be, I'm trying to find the dining table again under a pile of Christmas stuff.

Big food shop tomorrow. So list writing

  • Evening all,

No, CY ,it isn't too early, sleep is important x

Dizzy , oh how awful for you, glad you are all safe. It also sounds quite exciting in a way (or is that just me).?

mumof2, very brave of you, I hope it all works out x

I have been on it today! Finished paid stuff, picked up from school, done Wednesdays list and half of Thursdays, tidied kitchen again and mopped floor, wm DW etc. Feeling good flying wise. long may it continue!

Christmas shopping is going to be done this weekend. Honest x

Well done mumof2 I'm glad you were able to say what you needed to. X

    Sweet dreams CY.

We got home half an hour ago so I've just been de-makeup-ing DDs face. It didn't take too much. She enjoyed her show, and was in 4 sections and the finale :) bless, she does look very serious on stage, I think she concentrates and forgets to smile ;) but she did her swan dance with her little prince. Very cute (and I managed not to cry:T). They do go on late these shows - and I won an entire box of assorted "gourmet" popcorn bags :rotfl: that is the most random raffle prize I've ever won lol.

The house is a mess. Well, it's surface mess more than anything. Costumes and hair stuff all over. School uniform strewn around. DVDs everywhere. And popcorn, lol. And I'm just bushed so I'm going to be naughty and leave it till tomorrow.

The elves are leaving some craft stuff for the weekend so that's an easy one. I need to go clear my bed - full of laundry and airing cupboard stuff as I made room for DS duvet. It's almost dry but not quite...

Glad it's the weekend. Although we are back at ballet in the morning!!!

Sorry not been here but DS staying and with DH on hols - not done much flying except dailies and four WM/TD and put away :o

Dizzy - soo sorry to hear all your flooding. Thinking of you over the weekend because of all the rain forecast and hope it misses you this time. Thank goodness your DH's friend has you kind of sorted upstairs with some power, heating and water.

Healing vibes for all the poorlies, calming vibes for those feeling a bit stressed and ((hugs)) for all.

I'll be ready for duty Monday and hope you all have a super weekend
