Happy Birthday Mr LW
Well done, Mumof2.
Dusty, my D H set the alarm for 05:00 because we were leaving the house at 08:00 - and he still only just made it!

Not got as much done as I would have liked but never mind. Just going to iron the shirts now and finish some sewing.
In a mad moment decided to invite cousins over on the 27th who I haven't seen in years and years. This could turn out to be a big number as now I need to invite their siblings and family plus my Aunt and Uncled and mother and sister - what was I thinking. Already am hosting Christmas for my family and Dh's family on the Monday or Tuesday - will be Tuesday now. DH doesn't like family, oh well he is OS atm so not here to consult
Stay safe everybody in the wind and I hope no more flyladies are flooded, looks awful out there. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

My tree is up
But not decorated. Well, sort of. Those pesky elfies have pegged themselves and all our socks to the tree. Lol. This allows mum to actually do the tree bit without children being involved and them not telling me off
They can put the ornaments on tomorrow then I'll re-do it when they've gone to bed:rotfl: not that I have Xmas ocd or anything;)
Mrs MP they sound rather ill mannered:(Bossymoo

I agree with bossy Mrs MP. Do we not have service industries any more?
Whatever happened to going the extra mile for a customer? Shakes head in disbelief.
DH has wallpapered the feature wall for DD2. The pictures I've seen look very good. Tomorrow we are going to choose carpet..:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Bossy- I have christmas ocd too then! Your post made me smile as that's what I do. Certain ones go towards the back, certain ones go to the front, little ones at top and big ones at the bottom. Children's homemade decorations spread out so they Arent all in a lump together! Ds kept asking me this afternoon to clarify if some of the decs were classed as big or small. When they had gone to bed I tweaked it and put all the ornament up around the room. It was lovely in there tonight with all the lights twinkling. We are seeing fil tomorrow and then he is going away for 6 weeks so I had to wrap his pressies tonight. While I had everything out I wrapped a few more for other people which are now under my tree and out of the present cupboard. Hopefully now it will be a bit easier to see what I have in there. Still haven't written any cards. Must do that tomorrow after I've done my planning and prep for work.
Left to do...
Write a few cards
Clear the nursery ready for painting
Take up the nursery carpet
Masking tape ready for wall painting
Fill the cracks in playroom
Masking tape skirting board in the playroom ready for painting.

Ugh. I'd only just got DS duvet dry and back on his bed, and now he's been sick <barf>
You couldn't make it up
I've cleaned him up and stripped his bed so it's musical beds again tonight. I've already undressed DD earlier as she was sweating in put a clean pillow case on her <also freshly made> bed.
Laundry again tomorrow - if it's not gales I might be able to get the whirligig out...Bossymoo
