Oh lordy dizzy what a nightmare. Thank goodness you have good insurance. Hope they can get you somewhere reasonable in time for Christmas. Is there anything we can do? I'm not sure where in the world you are? Xxx

Had a mooch round shops this morning. Bought some googly eyes and a light up pudding bauble for the tree. And a latte, then treated myself to a new lippy with my b00ts points.

I'm going to get moving again, downstairs is in reasonable shape but upstairs could use my attention, plus some laundry to hang up. I've finished my lunch (late!) so I'll do 45 min of jobs then go for the kiddies!

According to an episode of Ben and Holly you need a gnome to get rid of moles.. they are scared off by gnome-song.

(((Hugs))) to Dizzy. Definitely a time to be thankful for the insurance. I had watched the local news about the flood barriers going up all along the Severn and thought it might not be the best of times for you - the diverted water has to go somewhere. Glad you're all safe, even if out of sorts xxxx

Warm, coping and dry vibes heading your way, Dizzy.

Speaking of Dizzy, some time ago Flyladies may remember she very kindly sent me an Extra Large dog's Thundshirt (as here). As she and I thought it was too big for Kelpie really, but using it meant that I found out that it really, really helped him cope with difficult situations so I've bought one in his size for when he gets stressed or when fireworks etc are due. (He absolutely loves, loves, loves wearing it and when he's really stressed he wears it overnight like pyjamas. Works a treat.) Dizzy and I have Messaged about this and as she doesn't want it back, so it's on offer to any Flylady who has the need of it. It will fit a dog 29-50kgs, and from trying several different ones in P3t$ @ H0m3 I can honestly say their sizing is spot on. PM me if you'd like it, or it will go to a local dogs home. (I've got the box from the large one I bought, so I'll include that with the Extra Large thundershirt so the instructions about how to fit it etc are included.)

Sorry I'm not contributing much at the moment, things are very busy here.
    Better is good enough.

Hugs and coping vibes to dizzy, sorry to read what you are going through.
Get well and recovery vibes to all that need them.
Been asked to work full time till Christmas as my friend/job sharer is now on sick. Poor thing, hoping she gets lots of rest and is fully recovered in time for Christmas. The money will certainly be handy for the bathroom fund but it's making me time poor in the Christmas run up.

Better go and do some wrapping I've got stuff I need to post at the weekend.

    to Honey Bear

    Just updating my list:
[STRIKE]- Finish writing the cards - though I might leave the German ones to do on the train tomorrow[/STRIKE] - all done and posted except local ones, which can be delivered in the week before Christmas
[STRIKE]- Pack parcel for my SiL[/STRIKE]- decided to send a charity donation instead, so have written gift cards with explanation to her and 2 other friends; I will enjoy the amaryllis myself :j
[STRIKE]- Sort baby things[/STRIKE] - decided this will take too long, so I've packed them away tidily in crates in the linen cupboard
[STRIKE]- DH to take cards to PO, baby things to CS and bags of leaves to the tip[/STRIKE] - thanks :A
[STRIKE]- Clean through the house (DH has already said he will do the hoovering when he gets back)[/STRIKE] decided that if I did it today, it would need doing again before Christmas. Nobody will see the dust gathering.
[STRIKE]- Turn up my new jeans
    - Clean shoes[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]- Iron a shirt
    - Update my phone[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]- Charge camera[/STRIKE]
    - Deal with emails as necessary - the answer I was waiting for still hasn't arrived :(
    - Reset CH
    - Packing

    Nearly there!
